Has anyone had good luck by reducing depression or anxiety with medicinal quanities of pot.......by that I don't mean getting stoned all day long.
I have heard it works for some For others it works in reverse and brings them on We are our own healers - we just need to pay attention to what is being said to us by ourSelfs. To do this we must still the internal dialogue, learn to listen, pay attention , and Act.
iv been reading alot about the different strains of pot. Some give you a body hi, others a mind hi, some give you a 'clear head', some make you happy, while others make you paranoid and depressed... im starting to think its true, i got some really good weed one day (half an ounce) and id get sooooo stoned it was like a trip, then the next day be completly clear headed and feeling fantastic. With other weed ill feel completely unfocused, unmotivated, and feel like shit and iv noticed other similar things... as for depression, yes. Taking up marijuana will be somthing new and exciting... but after a while...i dont know. it might get you over A "period of depression". it could actually extend the period, i dont knw.
Well as far as anxiety i cant think of too much worse, it has a way of numbing it as well as it making it worse at the same time.
When smoking weed you should watch how much you smoke. I think some people have problems with it because they smoke too much at one time. Try spreading your smoking out. Like take about 3 good hits,let the high set in,then about an hour later take another 3 hits etc.
I'am not sure what you were responding to. But I was touching on how pot can cause anxiety and depression in some people who smoke it.
