Hi i am going on my holidays on saturday... i began taking the pill last wednesday, for the first time ( so i am taking the pill one week now) i went on the pill to not only prevent me from getting pregant but to stop having my period on holiday. When i started taking my pill i was not on my period like as it had been away 2 and half weeks before taking the pill. what do u think would be my chances of getting pregannt while taking the pill like this if i have sex on holiday? ..while not taking the pill on the exact time started (on period) what do u think my chances would be of taking my period while on holiday? (as my due date is on holiday i would usually take it if i wasnt on the pill) thanks..
This is your first time taking the pill? I believe they usually say to use another form of birth control for the first month. I would read the insert that comes in the package. I'm unsure about getting your period. Though I don't think you should get it, I'm not sure since you didn't start the pill while on your period as they suggest.
I would reccomend using a condom if you're planing on having sex. If you're on your first month of the pill it isn't up to it's full efficiency yet, so it's still risky. Use a condom. Be safe.
The pill is effective during the first month too but only if you start taking it on the first day of your period. Since you didn't, you should use a condom.
Definitely use a condom. I didn't have sex my first month on it because I knew that I might get pregnant. Always use a backup when you're not sure.
ok thanks what should i do if i happen to take my period..keep takin the pill while on holiday or stop if i take my period then start taking again once period is over
If you don't want your period over your holidays, skip the last 7 pills (sugar pills) and start a fresh pack. (I'm guessing that's what you mean?) Either way, don't stop taking your pills. The last set of pills don't really do anything....but they help keep you on track.
