i doubt very much they'd remember it but harlan ellison i met twice. somtow sucharitcle, george rr martin, jerry brown (harlan was with him the first time i ran into harlan), probably any number of people i didn't know were famous at the time, which is probably the case with a lot of us. i'll bet almost every one of you have met at least one 'famous' person without realizing it. after all, without the makeup and the rest of it, most of them look just like anybody else. carrol cherreh is still bitching about my accidently stepping on her foot and totaly missinterpreting my intentions.

dr shadow bug ofcourse. pretty cool dude him.

oh and of course missis black, who as a child was known as shirley temple.
she was one of the regulars who used to eat at lil's in colfax. along with a mr guthrie who had something to do with some steamship company like apl or one of them. used to give me a ride in his rolls sometimes when i was taking my dads lunch down to the depot where he worked. he (guthree, as i guess kind of his hobby, used to maintain and even put togather, the fire trucks for colfax's volunteer fire department).

april bellows, i won't mention the name you more likely know her by, i'll let you guess.
she was wanting to join a particular faith just so she could use their simpler kind of devorce and they told here it didn't work that way. to which her response was the song 'half breed'.

sidney and hope bliss, infamous realestate manipulators, and a total bizaar trip.
i'd swear sid must be a vampire because he looks exactly the same today as he did 37 years ago.

    i'm sure there's others i'm forgetting.

maybe even some of the people i knew a little better have become sort of famous or semifamous, but i have no idea who if that's the case.

then there's a certain alan konigsberg, whome i may or may not ever have met by seem quite possibly to be somehow related to. my mother's natural father's name was kanigsburg. that's another one you may know by his preformance name which i'll also let you guess at.

oh here's one you probably do know: robert zimmerman. and his mother, marrion zimmerman-bradley.

met him at a sciffy con once. this was before anyone had ever heard of the tirtles.
the connection you ask? only that the guys who created tamnt were also there. not as g.o.h.'s, they hadn't been heard of yet, but just fans like the rest of us.

all that was many years ago.

oh and i still haven't mentioned lilla and smokey pruite. who you probably wouldn't know, but are just as important to me. and then there a lady who'se a flute player that used to ride the buss in the town where i live and still lives the next subtown over.

    =^^=
