Did I OD on OxyContin and not know it?

This past week I've been using oxycontin.. I used 10mg a couple mornings again (insufflated).. felt pretty good, wasn't too strong.. then I used 30mg when I woke up, then 10mg when I got home, gave 10mg away, and the next morning I had 20mg and when I got home I had 40mg's.. well.. I always hear about people taking 80mg's and I was like hmm.. I shall try it.. well I snorted 40mg's and I was fucked.. I suddenly got a good feeling, but after that (1 hour later) I got a big headache, and I felt sick.. I didn't puke, but I felt like it.. well about 5 hours later it wasn't too bad, so I snorted 30 more mg's and I just got a bad headache again so I stopped, I took some Excedrin's (2) and then I was scared I was gonna die because I had a slow heartbeat.. (about 60 bpm) .. I was a bit nervous because it's usually around 80.. and it's been difficult to piss and I looked online and saw that it can be a symptom of liver damage.. should I drink some coke (caffeine is a diuretic I believe)? and maybe a couple laxatives? what should I do, and did I OD.. or is it just my imagination?

If you over dosed you would be dead. Also, those side effects are normal, you will know when you pushed the limit when you start having problems breathing.

Well, clincally, an overdose is just taking more than prescribed. You can take more than you are used to, and have nothing more than slowed breathing (as you said) and a slowed heartbeat, as well as clumsiness, drowsiness and maybe loss of consciousness. If you look at it, ANY "buzz" on this drug is clinically an overdose, if you have any tolerance at all.

The OP most likely took more than he was used to. Yeah, some caffiene, and keeping yourself awake and moving around is best, also, if you have a freind you trust, have them come and be with you, just in case. If you fall asleep and go into respiratory arrest, that's it, my friend.

Be careful with this stuff. It ain't tic tacs.

Haha, I treat them safely. I hate people that don't research before taking psychoactives. but yea, I ment like did I overdose as in, the reason I passed out was because I breathed slower? or what.. I was just scared I did something to my liver.. I was throwing up and having bad pains and I had never thrown up before from oxy.. only once and it was nothing.

Heartbeat of 60 bpm is fine lower than 60 is when its a little too low. 60bpm would be average resting heart. If youre in the 50's hummmmmmmmm 40's oh dear. On the higher hand 120 bpm really MAX any higher and oops. Unless of course you are exercising! This is just based on resting heartbeats. If i was resting and my heart was beating at 120 bpm (which it has done as i had blood pressure probs) then its not great. Just thought id add this.

Its cool, I did OD on OC's once and trust me its more than a headache and fucked up heart. I could feel my kidneys aching and I was puking everywhere. I had shot up 80mg, and have been known to do up to 200mgs a day, that shits just dangerous and can pick a day to kill ya out of knowhere.

You can get headaches from pain killers if you dont have a headache to begin with, I dont know why, but it happens!

Your cool, just dont scare yourself into a heart attack if this happens again..
