I went to the flea market and picked up a grotty old guitar, sanded it down, polished it up, painted it and it turned out like this... Everyone and his dog seem to be playing guitar these days, so who am I to miss out?! And then a bit of camerawhoring... Hope you like
Is that a D chord you're playing? I tried to teach myself but I don't have the discipline Can still knock out a few vague tunes though Really cool looking guitar you got there!!
Thanks guys! I thought about the ebay thing but I don't think I'd sell them enough to make it worth it - the cost of the guitar in the first place plus postage and all that. This one was for fun anyway
hey babe it looks wikkid wow bass to guitar eh? finally picked up those extra few strings (tehe sorry bad guitarist joke there, its liek the "what do you call someone who hangs around with a rock band?..................the drummer" arf arf arf.) Nah seriously though the guitar looks wikkid
Yeye, that looks ace.. you do too Muchly Love, and a world of thanks for talking to me yesterday... Love, Sunny Maisie xxx
Any time Sunny, you know that Yehhh so I thought it was about time to start playing the 'real' thing, my heart still belongs to basses though!
Lovely werok on the guitar, I have always wanted to pain my accuostic, but never got the guts to do it, I tend to mess up when it comes to art projects. What did you use to paint it? Simple permenant marker, paints? And you, ofcourse, look as lovely as ever.
Hey Pavel, Thanks! I used acrylic paints on it, but I really ought to varnish over it to make sure it doesn't flake off. It'd probably have worked better with another kind of paint but I had that lying around. You should be brave! Just draw on what you want to in pencil first to make sure it looks ok before you do anything too drastic!
I guess that I should, the shitter here though is finding the paints and such. I guess that I can always just go for a permenant marker which will eventually fade off. I won't be using the guitar though... I'm so much closer to my electric these days.
I'd post you mine but I can only shudder to imagine the gooey, spilt mess that you'd probably receive at the other end!
