TELL us what you believe in. What you hate, what you love, what are your most valuable principles, your ideas about a better world, better religion and a better life. What is your formula for personal happiness, and anything you want to express for others to read and reflect.

I love the earth and all things natural. I love peace and tranquility and hard working and intelligent folks who realize that we are here as caretakers of the earth and work diligently to accomplish this important task. I love the adventure of life, and the knowledge it has given me. I love finding others who are on the same path and are not hippocrites. I love doing things to make the world a better and prettier place.

Yes, there is room for hate. As all things have their opposites, denying hate is denying human nature. But in hating certain things, the goal should be to create something better. Everything that I can think of that I might say I hate comes from HUMANS. There is nothing in the natural world that deserves hatred. Hatred AND love are strictly HUMAN emotions anyhow, self centered at best.
That being said, I hate users. People who throw their trash around. People who will not take responsibility for themselves and the space they take up on this earth. People who are mean and manipulate others for their own ends. People who refuse to realize that we are all here for the same reasons, and must create division, war, greed. I hate the fact that humans are so screwed up. I hate some of the feelings I feel, but being a screwed up human, I cannot always control my emotional reactions to things. I cant live up to my own standards of how I want to be as a human. Most people probably cant, unless they have very low standards. I hate that humans do not even fit in with the natural scheme of things. Like a fifth wheel. I hate that humans have such an over exaggerated sense of importance and take life way too seriously...

Something that is very important to me and I don't think most folks get it, is TRUTH. Truth is NOT a matter of opinion. Truth is constant and does not change. It is above human emotion. The same of love. People say they love this one or that one, but let the object of their affection do something they don't like and see how fast love runs the other way. That was not love at all. It was selfish expectation. Attachment. Real Love does not go away.

Some of my favorite ideas to live by:
Something is usually better than nothing.
Listen to everything, but believe nothing unless you see it with your own eyes. And then question that.
Keep eyes and ears and mind wide open, always. There are as many sides to a story as there are characters.
There is a little bit of God in everyone, some folks you just have to look harder to find it.
Food, clothing ,and shelter. All else is complication. Don't take life so seriously! Drama is a bad habit.
Religion is glorified superstition. Don't be a follower.

The education system is Bullshit. The most important education that most people don't ever get is learning how to get along with our fellow humans, and living lightly on the earth.

But its SO-O-O scary when you consider that the true path to happiness and utopia is the one where you put other peoples feelings above your own. Supposing EVERBODY did...

Honoring the Connection One to All to One in Wholeness.
There is nothing to hate - it Is - and the very act of Isness is Love.

Lessons do not have to be hard, nor are they better learned if they are.
Opposites do not have to be acted on.
    We Can Be
    Just that
    Simple
    Be

Yes I interact and Connect with others
But from my own center and the Balance I bring
    This is mine
And I find that one of the most important things is to Honor this in others and MySelf.
Others choose to act from the place from which they come, I from the place from which I come
I embrace free choice and the Growth it brings.

We are all here to learn and Grow
How we do it is a choice
    And this choice is individual

Namaste - my spirit bows to your spirit

My beleifs and religion are natural, they come from watching and accepting nature at face value. Hence, I truly beleive life is to be enjoyed! The planet has all we will ever need to be healthy ,happy and wise! Better to be part of something you no is real and eternal, than something that you know is completly manufactured!

I love real people. Even if we clash in our beleifs. I admire anyone that stands their ground and dosn't fold under worldly peer pressure! Especially where the truth is involved.

I HATE money! It's the root of all evil. Come on folks the shit in't even real!

    My formula for happiness.

1.Always listen to your heart, even if you feel the whole world is against you.

    2.be active mentally and physically

3.avoid worry. It dosn't accomplish anything

I believe that all humans were put here by the Creator (not God in the Christian sense, think more in the Native American sense) to be the guardians of the Earth, but we screwed it up majorly. Now we need to put right the mistakes of our ancestors and those currently in power need to be removed or shown the light.
Everyone has the right to be happy and to be loved, and being happy means being free to do whatever the heck you like, where you like, when you like (so play that tuba at 3 AM - but your neighbour has the freedom to smack you one ;) )

I don't just mean one post and a response. I mean at least 3 consecutive posts of interrelated comments. I don't see it enough and see it more on young hippies than anywhere else. Question: if people don't wanna be friendly, than why bother putting your ideas out? I for one have never liked a superior attitude. But hey I realize it feels right to relate by sharing your past as it relates to the topic. However, if I wanted info on a particular subject rather than the joy of seeing interrelated comments, I would definitely go to a book on the subject, or possibly a website. AS far as expressing the greatest of emotions, love of people, situations or things, animals or whatever........without having your presence in front of me, the rant seems quite oratory. I ain't no child to be lectured to nad I'm sure you don't feel like you need to be lectured to on the meaning of life. Especially wiothout detailed accounts of how you got to believe that......without first reading about your exploits or getting to see your weather beaten faces wrinkle in contortions as you spout off rhetoric, and your tone of voice convey the notions of emotions, your arms wave up and down, well at least your hands adding to the flair of the spoken language.................the alternative in least for me, in my humbleoisity, is to look for at least a friendly banter of 3 consecutive posts on anything really.....I see dang little of it. To bad for me it seems people be preoccupied with their own life stories and resulting beliefs to be asking questions about others. Same thing happens in real life convos too, in short, it is the schools fault for not teaching people to be conversationalists. Damn few of us around.
I'm different another way too. A lot of people gotssa be quiet in the dark all night long.
Me....I'd just as soon sit around in a tea house with a little stage in the corner all night long and discuss the finer esoteric points of the recent local artsy fartsy types. Maybe listen to some home spun music or poetry recited. I'm not a hippie interested in fitting into the groove of any kind of 24/7 establishment routine. The advantages to me of things like cranking up the shopvac to vacuum fleas off my dogs at 3am in the morn are profound. I am a studied philospher who lives like a wizard alchemist at the end of a deadend road. I welcome all, but shed people off me like dead hair when their hurried and sometimes negative talk comes my way. It's enuff I heal myself of my own mental probs. People who have stayed here for long end up slumping into a lot of sleep catching up on thestress that cares of the world create. How much I would love to wave a magic wand and reach with that magic into your hearts and give you the contentment and calmness I have abounding, but alas tis not so yet. Maybe later on some dimension you will know when you reach the other side.

Blessed be those with knowledge of healing herbs and talents long forgotten in the arts of life.

well you've probably heard what i have to say a whole bunch of places if you've been to any of them.

what i believe in is what we could all have and that only ourselves togather are keeping us from having them. i don't mean possessions of course, but conditions we all experience and live in.

i think there's all kinds of things no one knows anything about but the connection between priorities and probabilities of all of us togather is what creates the external conditions each of us individualy run into and experience.

i believe in lots of things but what does that mean, believe in?
what is is. some we see. some we don't. some we guess at. some are beyond even that.

creating and exploring are what gratify
the kind of world we all have to live in is what matters
sure there's probably something big, friendly and nontangable too
and maybe zillions of somethings little, friendly and nontangable

    a better world,
a better world is not screwing up worse whatever world you happen to find yourself in
a better world, a heavin even, is not robbing anyone of their calmness and no one robbing you of yours.

what do i find reprehensible? when people deny that connection between priorities and probabilities and use belief as an excuse for doing so. or anything else for doing so for that matter.

Today I woke up with a sort of paralisis and felt I was summoned by a blue light but somehow I
let doubt enter and suddenly I was back to the worm-filled existence we are so acostumed to, which is basically trusting our doubts, and carrying on with purpose and routine.

This made me realise a few things; one of them is that we are helpless to be following what we'know' and another is that the world is no different than hell, and that faith is the only thing that can move us, to move mountains.

    I believe that.

    from Hari.....................
seems to me you have placed carrrying on with purpose and routine as a reaction and/or reason to trusting your doubts. I retreat to my center on in moment of doubts and regroup forces. Ther are those forces coming in from external sources, the symptoms of this force are paralysis and blue light waking up from sleep which is filled with the input of negative incoming telepathic vibes. The world is heaven if you perceive it as such, hell if you let others control your being. it is time for you to sort out what emotions you want from those that are created by people you react to, whether those people be present in the flesh or visiting your mind in your sleep.

    peace
