Okay guys...Figure I'd throw a thread out there that everyone can have fun with...Who is your LEAST favorite Christian? I'd say W. or Coulter.
Well, if we are talking contemporary Christians I'd have to say Pat Robertson, Rick Santorum, Dubya, Jerry Falwell, man oh man, the lists goes on and on and on. If, however, we're talking Christians from any era I say my absolute number 1 un-favorite Christian is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . PAUL! That's right kiddos, Paul. Perverted and distorted the teachings of Jesus (The real savior) for all time in a way that nobody else ever has, can, or will.
Well, since a "Christian" is supposed to follow the teachings of Christ, I don't think I've ever met a true one. But, as for the pseudo-hypochristians, I'd say ALL OF 'EM.
Not sure if that's sarcasm or not, but no: Jesus was Jewish. He came to realize (or always knew, depending on how you see it,) that he was the son of God, and that the only way that people can be saved from the sin into which they're born is to believe that God would sacrifice the thing that is dearest to God's heart: God's only "child." Hence, Jesus was the Christ, which means the anointed one in Greek: the Christos...This became linked to the Hebrew word mesheach, or the messiah: the savior of humankind. Hence, when you believe in Jesus the Christ, you're a Christian.
I don't have any " least favorite Christians ". If they're really children of God, they're family yo me. I do know a lot of fakes though. I'm sure that you all know plenty. I'm not sure throwing out names would accomplish much, but we all know what we'd like to say about them!
Yeah I think we all know Christians that require an extra amount of patience, and those who have been Christians for quite awhile, yet they are still quite immature in their walk. They can frustrating to deal with sometimes, but I'd imagine that I'm can be frustrating to other Christians, especially to those who are mentoring and discipling me right now.
