I have a huge problem..if anyone could help..(related to a girl and my best friend)

So I have this friend..he's my best friend, I've known him since years ago. So ya..last year he got a girlfriend..they've been going out since last year. They broke up yesterday..(my friend told me the news yesterday). So ya this summer has been quite good but it's been quite horrible too. So one day, me and him we decided to go at the pool, that was one month ago..so we saw this girl whom I know since years but like we don't talk..perhaps just a hi. So ya..she passed close to me..said to her hi, my friend told her hi too (at that time he still had his gf). My friend knew her..they met back in 2002 but they didn't talk too much at that time..and then I told at my friend who was she but she changed so much. My friend immidiatly wanted her.

Every year..here close to my house, there's a festival, a greek festival. I went there, saw people, chilled with many..at the last day of the festival, we danced..nd I was with my best friend, we saw that girl (the one at the pool the other time). So ya we danced with her..and at the end, it started to rain, so ya we said goodbye to the girl. At one point she says to my friend..''you know you so beautiful''..nd then she says u have a girlfriend? My friend said yes..nd that day finished like that.

So ya..1 week passed after that day, I get a message in my cell from that girl. The 1st one, she was saying to go and see her at this parc with some of her friend (whom I know)..but at that time I had my cell closed so ya. I open it at night, call her and talk talk..she says if my friend still has a gf. So then..we talked for another minute and then she had to go sadly. 5 days passed after that day, I call my friend to tell him she left a message. (in the message, she said her cell number). So my friend got it..supposedly I think they are gonna go out together. So ya..but in her message she was saying she wants to see us, so I thought it this way.

Yesterday, we were supposed to see her with my best friend. But my best friend was at this big mall with his gf where he broke up with her. Then my friends finaly comes at his house (we were supposed to see each other at 3:00pm) but he came home at 8:00pm. Jesus-.-..then we talked on the phone with him, told me he broke up with his girl bla bla. Then we organised to go with our bikes at this parc cuz we had nothing to do..he told me he wants that girl(the one at the pool, the festival) but me..I really want her. I don't my friend to get her but here's the thing. He's my best friend and I would like to have a relationship with that girl. But I can't stand the fact that my best friend will get her. I mean he had a gf, let me have mine now..it's my chance. And yes everyone, I've never had a girlfriend before sadly.

So what do you guys think? What should I do? I've had this depression since quite some time

Well I think you should just leave her alone. You knew her for a long time but never made a move. Then your friend tells you he wants her and now you want her to. She sounds like she is flirting with him not you. So you could throw away a good friendship for a girl that you like just because you are jealous. Just leave her alone let your friend have this one and go out and talk to some different girls. They are everywhere you realize.

 

yea its not up to you or your friend who she goes out with, its up to her and she seems to be expressing interest in your friend, probably from his cocky self assuredness. women like cocky self assured guys. perhaps you should pretend you have 2 girlfriends and tell her you think shes beautiful then the next day 'break up' with your gfs and ask her out.

 

i'd say tell him to back off so you can have a chance, cuz you'll never get anything if you're a pushover.
