just got it. finally. the only place i could get it was off amazon cause i couldn't find anyone that carried it. that's pretty pathetic. they carry the unamed feeling EP and the Bluegrass Tribute to Metallica, but not the album that was the first thrash metal album. this album has helped me believe not only in metallica again, but myself. long live metal.
Bluegrass tribute to Metallica? I wanna check that out, haha. Kill 'em all stays great, rock 'n roll to the bone. I'm not very fond of the thrash and thrash/death metal sound, but Metallica's first albums had just a cool twist on it. Of course and unfortunately achievements held in the past does not garantee anything for the future.
Good album, My fav is and justice for all. I really wish the band went in that direction rather then what they are now.
Great album. My favorite metallica album has to be ride the lightning. It's like a greatest hits album.
Kill Em All is a badass album.. Anesthesia is an awesome bass solo, probably the first bass solo in heavy metal. Whiplash, Seek & Destroy and Phantom Lord are great songs too, as are all the songs in the album.
After the sad excuse of an album which was St. Anger, I can safely say I will never have faith in Metallica again - they're going to really have to outdo themselves if I am to be proved wrong. Kill 'Em All is an amazing album though, Metal Militia all the way!!!
It's been roughly 17 years since Metallica has released any quality new material. While this new record can't possibly be as bad as the former, I can't be brought to believe that they will return to form in one album. I do believe it will be their best effort since the Black album, though after ...AJFA, they just haven't been quite right...
Hit the lights really rocks my socks, man! I also dig Motorbreath and Whiplash from Kill 'em all, speed metal all the way And of course Anesthesia (Pulling teeth), great stuff. Lost glory.
Jump in the Fire is an abomination. Also, the famous riff from Seek and Destroy is REALLY annoying, but I like most of the rest of the album.
