I know these kind of threads have been on here a lot lately so I'm sorry if it bugs ya! Let's see.....let me start off by saying that graduating high school is/was pretty damn awesome! You are free, somewhat educated, & best of all.......you get graduation money. I was really suprised my parents said I could go on another tour. We seem like we have more money than we do & I know it must be really hard for them to this for me. I am SO grateful! And I have told them that. It's going to be really hard to come up with it all so I have to plan way in advance, esp. cause I don't have a passport. A couple years ago I went on a reality tour which tries to show americans mainly, how it REALLY is in other coutries: what sort of problems there are there, how it is to live there. They are semi-eco-tourism. The tour I went on before was to Jamaica so it highlighted the political system there but we also stayed in non-tourist areas because for the most part, Americans come to Jamaica & stay in closed off resorts, they don't get to really experience Jamaica for what it really is. The trip was life-changing: it made me decide to be vegan again, made me really think about other cultures, where my clothes were made & how & essentially secured what I want to do in life. Since I can't go into the Peace Corps just yet, I am going to try to go on at least this one more of these trips now. I am going to go w/ my Aunt; I don't know if anyone remembers, but I lost my uncle & second father not to long ago, so we thought it would be good to something this enlightening together. These are our choices for places to go: Viet Nam China Thailand India Kenya Tanzania South Africa I guess I'm asking for help because I want to go to all these places! My Aunt told me to decide & some are more expensive than others, but I would try to earn the money no matter how much. I am very good at funraising, I raised, impromptu, around $500 in a day to give to the animals who were abandoned & hurt by Hurricane Katrina. So I think I have the willpower. My heart is in Africa & I want to everywhere, but I am a bit worried that I won't be able to give blood after I go there for around 10 yrs. I'm going to call the Blood Bank & ask, so that might narrow it down some...I'll let ya know. I am going to go to Africa sometime no matter what, but for now I do still want to give blood because I've only given a few times & I know it's needed. PLEASE HELP ME NARROW DOWN MY CHOICES! THANK YOU & CONGRADULATIONS IF YOU HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR ON READING THIS THREAD!

What are the requirements for joining the Peace Corp? Do you have to have a certain amount of college completed or something? Because I really want to join.
