Busted! at school.

i about got busted at school in 8th grade
they checked my locker and we have 2 shelfs on the top well he didnt look there he bent down and checked my back pack and shit and i quikley grabbed and took the acid and swallowed 3 pills
that was the most interesting day of school after i took those!

 

I got busted at school too. I was in the tenth grade(for the second year in a row) and I would go across the street to this abandoned house and smoke two joints in a closet on the carport. I used the closet so passers-by wouldn't see me. Anyway, I went over to the house and smoked my usual two joints to the head and went back to class. Normally, my teacher didn't give a fuck that I smelled very strongly of marijuana, but we had a substitute teacher that day. We were in one of those portable classroom trailers. I was sitting on one end and the teacher was about 25 feet away from me, but he still smelled the strong odor of marijuana that had soaked into my clothes(it smelled so strong because I had smoked out that tiny closet on the carport with two joints). He asked me if I had been smoking weed and I replied with "yeah, so?" And he immediately took me to the principals office. During our walk to the principal's office, I was somehow thinking straight enough to realize that I still had two fat ass joints in a sack in my pocket. I grabbed them out of my pocket and casually dropped them in a trash can that I walked passed. But I was so stoned that I forgot I had a rather large knife in my pocket that I was holding for a friend. I was cuffed and searched. The search turned up the knife, but no weed. They were gonna arrest me, because I was 18 at the time, but the vice principal asked them not to because I was "such a nice young man". I was kicked out of school and asked never to step foot on campus again. I wasn't even allowed to go to any other school in the county. I ended up going to night school and getting kicked out of there for the same reason in the same semester. Then I went to the army and was kicked out of there for smoking weed too.

Damn man. I have been through some shit to get high. It was all worht it though.

No problem man. Yes, 18 and in tenth grade. I failed 6th grade and I failed 10th grade. Then I started going to school stoned the second year in 10th grade and started getting straight A's, but all they cared about was the fact that I was stoned. I started smoking when I was 16, but I didn't start going to school high until I was 18. People don't believe me when I say I started getting straight A's only after I started going to school stoned, but it's true. Ritalin didn't do shit for my grades, but weed did wonders.

 

Exact same thing for me. The doc tried to prescrible me that shit, and I didn't like it.

 

man that sucks, same shit happened to me, pretty much identical.

They searched me at school, didnt find shit, then they went to my car, didnt find shit at first but then found an eight or so. Called the cops, I was cuffed on the spot, arrested, no bail or anything, just had my parents pick me up (was under 18 at the time). I went to court like 3 months later, also had a preplanned trip to Europe so I was allowed to leave. My punishment in the end was 6 months informal probation, havent been tested so far but I have a meeting in a few days.

i got busted at school not really for weed but for weed brownies in which my friends and I served to my health class on our "healthy foods day" Dumb idea i know but i was only 14 i did get expelled but only for 2 semester and i had to go through a "rehabilitation" program which i didnt and just had my mom say i did. but as far as probation or court or anything i dont even think it's in my records. Damn thats Cali for ya they're just so used to it

 

This happens all too often but I'm afraid you're not entirely aware of your rights. You don't have to let anyone search your car unless they have a warrant. But I understand your position.. schools can really intimidate you into giving up your rights.

 

well me and my mother both signed a paper saying that they may search my car at any time while on school grounds.... it needed to be signed to recive my parking permit.

If only this was true.. Unfortunally there has even been a supreme court case on this topic and sadly school officials can indeed search a car on school grounds, without any probably cause. It does vary from state to state, but chances are if your state does not allow school searches the school will likely request some sort of waiver to get your parking permit.

I thought just like you, and I figured hey im not gonna risk it, maybe they cant maybe they can. So I decided fuck the parking permit, im gonna park outside of school. Well when they decided to search me, I told them no no no you cannot search my car it is not on school property. So they took the keys out of my backpack and opened it themselves (you cannot really resist, because im my case this would have required me to physically grab the key out of the security officers hand). I told them this in court, and they did agree that my rights were violated, however to fight a case like this my lawyer informed me would cost around 10-20k. I do not have 10 or 20k to blow on a lawyer, and the 2k I paid for having the charges reduced through a court "deal" was expensive enough. I figured 6 months probation with all charges dropped after was a much wiser move than to pay the 10-20k just so I could smoke for 6 months..

 

I havn't read the whole thread, or even the whole first post, but i know for sure if it was me i would have got in my car and driven the fuck out of there.

 

ive already spent a couple thousand on this shit.... and im going to have to spend another 3000 just for the drug classes. this is bullshit!

i had LESS than a GRAM.... god damn government....

 

so i have to meet with my PO twice a week for drug tests.
i have to meet with the judge once a week.
i have individual counseling once a week and group counseling once a week, with each council session costing $35...

my life for the next year is gone to the government.... very depressing.

 

It's the system that's fucked up and the fucked up part about it is that those that want to reform the stupid marijuana laws such as the Libertarian Party and NORML don't have any power to change things. The fucked up part is that those in power are the prohibitionists and propagandists that lie and smear the image of this wonderful herb and try to make it into some kind of nightmare plant,which it isn't. I wish the marijuana lobby had the same wealth and influence as the tobacco lobby does then the drug laws would make more sense.

 

Wow,it sounds like the government has a profitable scam going here. I understand that if they ended the drug war today a lot of people would be on the unemployment line. However my ass has been on the unemployment line and it wouldn't hurt if theirs was too.
