Anyone ever have a bad reaction when doing opiates and weed? My friend did about 250mg of codeine and shortly after smoked a bowl with me. A few minutes later we were watching some youtube.com and he looked very out of it. He said he needed to get some water and proceded to walk to the bathroom. Shortly after I heard a loud CRASH and walked over to find him lying on the floor. I panicked and started saying his name his name and he was like "Whoa how did I get on the floor?" he then got up and said he felt better. He walked into the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror for a couple minutes then started to stumble again. He fell backward and I had to catch him before he hit the ground. I lightly slapped his face and started saying his name while he mumbled giberish. Needless to say I was pretty freaked out. He soon came to again wondering how he got on the floor. after that he seemed to be okay luckilly. He said he got a huge headrush and major tunnel vision then blank. Anyone else ever hear about this?
i don't know about a bad reaction, i usually like the intensity of smoking a bowl after doing 3 or 4 viks. But yes, alot of the time after you have taken pain killers, smoking weed can make it much more intense to the point where you might not be able to walk
It was probably more because of the weed than the codeine. I have had this happen to myself numerous times. My heart always starts to beat rediculously fast, approx 150-200bpm and I end up passing out and sometimes convulsing with my eyes rolling back in my head. In my case, it is usually brought on by a very intense panic attack from being extremely stoned. Do you know if he noticed a rediculously elevated heartrate? Side note: This has never happened to me when I was on opiates or even synthetic opioids, such as codeine.
It was a pretty big bowl but definitely not enough to make someone pass out, especially with our tolerance. He also doesnt have nearly as much tolerance to codeine as I do. I would imagine his heartrate was elevated but probably because he was quite freaked out. And I usually always notice an elevated heartrate after smoking pot. He said he had intense nausea with it, I'm guessing from the codeine. I just thought it was weird, we've both done codeine and weed together many times before and this has never happened. Usually yeah, it is very enjoyable. P.S How much do you smoke to get a seizure? I usually just pass out or puke if I smoke too much...
ive never puked or had a seizure or anything like that from smoking, i guess the bud just made it real intense for the guy.
It depends on my tolerance and my mindset. If I am not worried about it, it won't happen; But when I start to get panicked about my heartrate, it can happen with a pretty small amount of weed, like a 1/4oz blunt. The thing is, it has happened after one blunt of mids before, then I have smoked entire ounces of dank in one night with no bad reactions. It all depends. It's definitely some sort of panic reaction. It never happens when I'm on xanax. If I take about 4mg of xanax, I can smoke unlimited amounts of the best pot in existance with no bad reaction. BTW, it is wonderful for me when I smoke just enough to get to the point that it feels like i'm gonna pass out and convulse. That shit gets deep. It's almost a psychedelic trance-like state of being.
i did about a similar dose, and my arms and fingers felt like pins and needles. But i perceived as a sense of power rather than anything else. it was actually quite worryingsome at the time, i paced for a few minits and it went away.
i have well weird spasms when i get stoned, i dunno it aint like a panic attack i just go a bit crazy an jerk about lol. as said above it was probably the intensity caused by the weed. what doses of codeine does he usually take? x
Shit that's sweet and how about your friend was really stoned? I do lot's herb-hash and stuff with opiates all day. One time I fell out on my keybaord. Next time have your buddy eat something before he gets high.
