What does it mean if the newest leaves on a plant have a yellowish cast? And what about the older leaves are slightly yellow closest to the stem? Is this normal or is there a nutrient deficiency?

could be a reaction to temp changes, what is your normal day and night temps?

Normal daytime is 75 (Fahrenheit) and around 60 at night, but the weather has just turned colder so the night temp is probably a bit lower. Tis only a cheap test crop though, I'm just getting the feeling for things before I commit to anything proper.

Could it be anything to do with nutrient deficiency?
