I recently had my labret peirced and everything is just fine with it except it's time for a jewlery change and I have no idea how this ring comes off. I have spun the ball and it does nothing. I know this is probably a dumb question so thanks for taking the time to help me in advance.

Is it a Closed Ball Ring? Cause if it is, then you need some pliers to open the ring up so the ball will come out. then just take the ring out...

Yeah it's a closed ball ring. How do I get it off even with the pliers? I don't understand how it functions.

Take needle nose pliers (swipe them with some alcohol first, though) and put them through the hoop and spread them enough for the ball to fall out. Do it over a towel or something if you're particularly fond of the ball so you don't lose it. Then, you just take the ring out and stick your new piece of jewelry through. Make sure your piercing is healed, though.

When i had my lip and nipple pierced i would just hold the ring firmly with one hand.. and with the other i would force the ball at. I had no trouble getting pericings out... just getting the ball back in the ball capture thing was my difficulty!!
