there are certain wesites that you can order seeds from but if it is your first time growing, you should use bagseeds (or the seeds from the marijuana you buy.) after you get some experience then you can purchase seeds online and be sure that you wont screw it up and end up wasting your money because you know how to do it.
how is it that you guys get seeds in your bags? I thought that if a plant had seeds then it had been fertilised and therefore no good? my weed that i buy never has seeds?
Ive NEVER got a seed in my bag, but if your buying Outdo theres a chance it could have got pollinated. Dosent mean its bad, it just means some of the plants energy went into producing a seed instead of bud. My dad always tells me about smoking the leaves of plants. "We never had no buds"
Buying seeds is most always better... but your best to wait till next summer to grow. Starting off growing indoor is full of a lot of surprises and most are not good. Try out door, with any seeds, learn how plants act and what not.
Of course "store bought" seeds are better. But that really isn't the point of reccommending bagseeds for first-time growers. If they use "free" seeds on thier first trial run, they haven't really lost anything if it turns out bad. Too much money gets spent on seeds by people that don't have a clue on how to properly grow them, or even worse - all the wrong clues!!! I would even reccommend store bought seeds for a first time grower that had a natural "Green Thumb" or guidance from an experienced grower. rhcpeppers, Smokey and Beckner are right, start outdoors next sping or early summer. Indoor growing can be more tricky, the proper equiptment is certainly more expensive!! Your first grow will be a learning experience. In the meantime, get a grow book. Look in the BOGLAND Forum, BOG has written a book, "Bonanza Of Green", that is specially tailored for new growers. Also take the time to look back through the old threads here - you will see all the mistakes that everybody else has already made. If you do your homework you will be ready for store bought seeds by next season. missbeeton, AfricaUnite is right (or should I say "Right-On!"? - sorry AU, I couldn't resist!). And BTW, eggs get fertilised - plants get pollinated. When our plants get fertilised, they are getting bat guano or good old prime quality cow shit. AfricaUnite, your dad sounds pretty cool. I bet he and I would have a lot of, "back in the days",stories to tell.
I can buy a oz and get no seeds and like 2-4 stems thats it so alot get plant clippings already female
BOG's book is awesome. Im so ready to start my 1st grow... all i gotta do is find an electrician who isnt gonna screw me on putting in a new panel box...
-your local hed shop -online, if you don't have a local hed shop -buy a bag of bud and pick out the seeds and stems. keep the seeds, chuck the stems.
