So The Libertine's are coming to Woodstock and will be staying with me. What would you make The Libertine for Dinner? I first thought a Virgin on a big Silver platter-But can't find any here in Woodstock. Any Female Volunteers?
i never did see the point in remaining a virgin. i dispensed with it as soon as was reasonably possible.
Well, If they came to my house, I would cook them something cheap, because I am poor. I would make sure that it tasted real good though, and was filling. I am getting good at being creative with meals. I am going to have a pretty good sized garden next year though, so if y'all stop by sometime towards the end of the summer next year, there should be some good eats.
It's funny you just reminded me of something my Grandfather told me many years ago. He was from Italy and made his living selling veggies in his own fruit and vegetable store in NYC. So as a kid I worked there on weekends and he would tell me stories about the people who bought his stuff. He said Rich people never buy fresh food and are so into making money they ignore their health. What they feed their bodies. So he said poor people buy fresh foods and cook them with love. He said someday Rich people will wake up and eat healthy in stead of making pre packaged crap. He was right-he would laugh his ass off seeing how much Rich folks spend in Health food stores. Bro I think anything served in your home would be a feast of love since you and you family are just that-Pure Love! Peace PS How's your son doing on that Djembe? When you guys come to Woodstock-I have a Drum for you guys.
Why not make him some Opium/Mushroom tea? You wont need eat anything after a cup of that. BTW Hippylandscaper, my son plays djembe's as well! But he's only 10 months old, so he only knows one song right now
Oh, it is. Have you ever had opium tea? I havent made any in a few months, but man, FAR better than any perscription, and I find it better than smoking the collected latex any day
How about a small explosive device? Naaa......Just cook alot of different things and let them pick or starve?
The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. Skye has been playing the Djemba since he was able to move his arms. He does really well and keeps getting better. Keeps steady beats and sings while he's at it. He's young still too, will be a year old on the 5th of next month. Drew, your Grandpa sounds like a wise man. It is pretty funny how much people will spend in health food stores. Most of the things you buy in these stores are the same things you can buy in regular store, only more expensive. I do prefer to buy certain items from the health food store, but as far as vegetables go, if you have the space and time, there is no reason not to grow your own. I am planning a vacation after I get out of school, about a year and a half, look foward to a nice drumming. My son will be a pro by then, and the next kid will have a start. I just realized I need to get another Djemba for the new born. I need to learn how to make my own drums. Been wanting to learn for a while, but there is no one around to help me figure it out. I had some guy that was going to show me, but he moved away. I bet if I look hard enough there would be someone in the city that could teach me.
There's a guy here in Woodstock who makes his own and sell them. I don't care for them since it's may pieces of wood all glued together. The one I import and sell are made by Africans and are made of one complete piece of Red Mahogany. The wood is farmed in a forest just for the Drum trade too. So I know my wood is not coming from the rape of the rain forests that's been going on so long. But the one piece is a great thing and it shows in the sound of my Drums Of Woodstock drums. So start by finding a good piece of wood and then if you can get someone to lathe it for you so it's all balanced you got your drum. When you guys come I will take you over to his shop here. even though we both sell Drums here we are buds. every Sunday the entire town shows up from 4 to 6 PM to Do a drum Circle for peace. We have more Djembe players here then anyplace. All ages too. So our Drum circle is a community event. Starting them young playing is a great thing and a good way for a family to bond too. Did you get your garden in? I love your place Bro. Peace
YO! Loved the pics of all the work you did on your van. Sweet ride. The AC was the cherry on the cake. Hope your feeling good and blowing shit up.
