The frustration of the 911 relatives is something that's rarely seen on the mainstream media in the U.S. They want to keep a lid on it to try prevent any public outcry or rioting.

I remember just after the U.S. invaded Iraq, MSNBC had a couple of mothers on with their little babies. They talked about how Daddy was off fighting in Iraq so that the cute little babies would be safe in a post-911 era. They didn't have any other guests with alternative views.

No. At the very least, they were incredibly incompetent in their response that day (or lack of it). They were negligent, which is just a bad as doing any other thing that is illegal.

They also deserved to be keelhauled for looking America in the face and saying an investigation wasn't necessary, no matter what one thinks about conspiracy or no conspiracy. Every American should have been outraged about that position.

No one was held accountable in the aftermath. All we got was a report that said we need more 'out of the box' thinking. Everyone should have been outraged at that too.

They were also guilty of using the whole event as an excuse for military adventurism and taking advantage of people with fear tactics for the sake of getting re-elected.

The lack of outrage by the American public was thwarted by the psychology job that the government and corporate media did on the public in the aftermath. Instead of outrage, we have people with ribbons all over their cars supporting the government position. Not only that, but the symbol for condolences for the 911 dead somehow got morphed into support for military adventures. If it hadn't been for those psychological tactics, the public may have been more upset about things back then instead of 5 years later.
