    Hi,

I have a question I bought some tampons a few months ago. OB silk ease regular and no matter what I do I always get leaks within 1-2 hrs. And the tampon is never fully drenched with blood. It expands but there is always a considerable about of white. and I'm using the tampon on my first day or on my last day when it's light. Can anyone give me any insights or suggestions. Thank you.

I use that brand, too and never have any trouble...not the silk ease...just normal. I also use regular absorbency. Does it happen even when you don't have heavy flow? If so, I don't know what to tell you. maybe it's not in far enough.

that's happened to me before, it'll leak and i'll think it's time to change, and much to my surprise its still dry and then i've just taken out a dry one (ouch!) so i dont know what's up with that.. are you putting it up far enough? too far (if thats possible, i dont really know..)

maybe you should try a different brand, or try a different size, like a super.
But I would just try a different brand to see if that would help
sorry not great advice, but i do know how f'ing annoying that is...

That happened to me too, the only way to avoid it was use a really high absorbancy. I switched to Tampax pearls.

AUGH! I know! That happens to me all the time(well until I stopped using tampons)!!

Frig that hurts like hell, I'll be like "Oh no! It's leaking again!" so I try to take it out, and it ends up almost killing me because it's like 97% dry. Ugh *shudder* that's probably one of the worst feelings...

I used to use tampons, but don't anymore (too much dryness and pain during sex, which disappeared when I stopped using tampons) but I always used a full size pad during my first heavy day.

Every womyn's vagina is different, and maybe yours is the wrong shape for the tampon you are using. Try a different brand, or try pads for that first heavy day. What about the tampon with a small thin pad?
