So what are you taking this semester? Most of the classes that I'm taking is research based, so no midterms or finals for these classes. it's ok to be a geek and brag about classes! I'm taking: Assessment & Evaluation-this class goes over the ways to grade students and exposes us to all of the educational laws, like standardized testing. We have to research a particular form of evaluating students and prove through additional research that this way is the best way. Fundamentals of language (Anthropology)-study of why and how we develop language in different parts of the world. educational Composition 4-writing IEPs Service Learning (intro to student teaching)- I have to teach a particular lesson that will take 30 hours to complete. I am taking... College Algrebra Cell Biology for Health Occupations (lecture and lab) Basic Computer Skills/MS Office (online) That's 14 credits. And will be is the most credits I've ever taken in one term.
I have only four more classes left in total and then I'm done with uni. Well, for now.. Religion & Ritual (24 credits) Human Rights, Law & Power (36 credits) Development Institutions (24 credits) Medicines, Health & Development (36 credits) Not looking forward to the dissertations...
damn i hope that the credit system over there is different!!! one class over here is usually 3 or 4 credits. good luck!

Intro into Counseling Psychology A and B ,a pre req for grad school next semester and I'm taking my last Spanish class in Costa Rica this Winter.
Intro to Anthropology - professor is awesome, and he worked with my good friend Aren's mom (who is an anthropologist). This i had most definitely not expected College Reading and Writing Advanced - this class is the best english class ever, and it gets me through with english 1 year in advance Great Books in the World's Religions - Really interesting class, looks at all the main religions and they're texts (judaism, christianity, islam, hinduism buddhism). It's all from an "agnostic" point of view (that's the only way i can explain it) Precalculus - well......it's precalculus Cultural Anthropology - this class is pretty cool, (i want to be a cultural anthropologist) it could be a little more interesting though. Though, indeed, the professor herself is hilarious for an old woman
I'm taking precalc too. also: art appreciation, algorithm design and UNIX, english comp I, and general psychology

I've got an Educational Foundations class where I have to do 15 hours of feild work in half a semester. I think its going to be great. I get to work with early elementry all the way up to secondary. Its great. I've got 19 and the average student here has 15. So busy.
