GAH! never ever use withdrawal!! Sometimes you can get sperm in the pre-cum too! Rare, but it happens! Why aren't you using condoms and/or the pill? o_O?? Even if you're on the pill you should always use a condom, for STIs. If the legal age is 16 in your state then get condoms off an older friend/sister/brother/parent. The pill you can get at any age (and your parents dont need to know)

Sweet gal, you're absolutely right that withdrawal is NOT an effective form of contraception!

As per which type you *should* use, that's dependent on many factors.

    1. Were both you and your boyfriend virgins before having sex with eachother? If not, you may have had STI/STD risks in the past and you need to get tested.
    2. Since it seems that you have not used condoms in the past, you have therefore had STI/STD risks already and you both need to get tested.
    3. Are both you and your boyfriend monogomous? (that means being faithful to each other and not having any sexual acts with anyone else)

Also, condoms should be available at any drug store no matter what your age, or if you know of any teen clinics in your area, they sometimes will give them out for free. I would reccomend latex, (unless you or your boyfriend are allergic) lubricated, (more comfortable feeling for both you and your boyfriend) condoms to use. Condoms are I believe 97% effective WHEN USED PROPERLY. Which means stored at room temperature, (NOT in a wallet!!) put on before ANY sexual activity, etc. This is where condoms can be tempermental. However, they DO protect you against STI's/STD's, so especially if you think your boyfriend is cheating, or at least use them until you both get tested.

But if you wanna double up your protection, you might want to consider using the birth control pill AS WELL AS condoms. Now for this one, I'm not too sure how easily you can attain these. Again, at some teen clinics, they have birth control pills. However in most cases, birth control pills are prescribed by your doctor or gynecologist. If attaining the birth control pill is a problem for you, then this might not be the best option for you.

HOWEVER, this is the most reccomended form of birth control!!! (ie birth control pills and condoms! Note-- birth control pills by themselves are 99.9% effective!)

There is, of course, many other options that are either less popular or less effective, such as the diapraghm, the cervical cap, spermicide foam, the birth control patch, and female condoms. All you need to do to find out about them is google it. You can find out plenty.

ALSO--- since you've indicated that you're using the withdrawal method.... have you had unprotected sexual intercourse within the last 48 hours? If so, or anytime in the near future, if you DO NOT WISH to become pregnant, then you need to acquire the emergency contraception pill, which, if I am correct, is two high dose pills that you take after a pregnancy risk, (which is what you've been having--- pregnancy risks) Now, these pills are available over the counter at any drugstore, and if you DO NOT want to become pregnant, I would advise you get them. If you want, google EC (Emergency Contraception) to find out what it's all about and prices, (although I don't think it's too expensive)

So with all that said, good luck and stay protected against pregnancy and STD's!!

OMFG have you never heard of condoms?! You're fifteen - no one wants to get pregnant at fifteen. You should've thought about protection before you started having sex.

withdrawal is definately not an effective method of birth control dear.
talk to your doctor and find out what kind of birth control is best for you to use.

absolutely a condom is a must..i'd suggest ading any other type as well since condoms can fail, but a condom is the minumum protection you need...even if you were on multiple forms..still use a condom
u want to trust your bf when he says hes faithful & perhaps ucan..but your bothyoung & no matter how muchutrust..theres no way to be 100% sure hes trust worrthy..thats just life..most ppl learn that the hard way by trusting someone they6 shouldnt..use a condom..everytime..no matter what
