What, as you see it, is God? Is it a heavenly being with sentinence, is it a human, is it nature, is it love or is it hate? Is God just an excuse and a way for people to justfy their own existence, actions and purpose in life? Is God good or evil?
I would see god as nature. Can't get much more all-powerful than that, right? However, I'm going to defer judgement on the existence of divine beings until I die. In the words of Blood, Sweat, and Tears, "I swear there ain't no heaven and I pray there ain't no hell, but I'll never know by living, only my dying will tell."
This is it! Now to extrapolate, existance has a base which can be identified through surrender to it. Which is identical with ones own awareness. This has three primary aspects of emptiness, clarity, and effulgence. If one strives in that, then soon one sees the emptiness, clarity and effulgence throughout all things, and then one has godly consciousness. If there is a God separate from this, then it is not worth knowing.
God is love. God is virtue. God is charity, faith, hope, and humility. God is pain, suffering, sacrifice, disease, disaster, and death. The one. The beginning and the end, all things. Maybe... I don't know if, what, who, etc. God may or may not be. But if he is real, he made the devil. So I doubt good and evil apply. Incomprehensible, indescribable, undefinable, and beyond our limited minds to grasp. Got God?
humans invented a word and applied it to something about which they are incapable of knowing almost anything. it is of course quite possible that there might be one or several or even many somethings to which that word might in some sense be appleid. considering what we now know the scale of that which exists to be, i mean just what we know of it, one thing we can be pretty sure of is that whatever this 'god' is, it couldn't very well have been the cause of all that and still be anything like flesh and blood life 'as we 'know' it'. what we do know is that speculation is speculation and that we are here and here is here, whatever here is, whatever we are. i like the idea of their being something big, friendly and nontangable. i like even more or more or less as much, to see people not causing suffering and harm. diversity (which is what reality certainly appears to be) doesn't seem to care too much what i like or don't like, but always provides plenty of both. so i feel there is something but i don't see it bending the knee to what anyone expects of it just that maybe it does love us and wish us well or at least observably doesn't seem to wish us any particular harm =^^= .../\...
