ok, yeah, WAY off topic as hell here, but I wanted to tell everyone the good news! After all my many threads about my pain in the ass life here with my mom, TODAY IS MOVING DAY! As I type this, I am surrounded in boxes! I just wanted to give out a BIG thanks to everyone who gave all their support and kind words and helped to give me the strength to do this! We're all feeling so much better, and in turn, my relationship with cody has taken a major turn for the better after it taking one hell of a beating here. ***HUGS TO EVERYONE*** THANKS AGAIN!
YAY! *hugs* Have fun! And let me know how it is to move with an almost-year-old...our lease is up right before Moire's birthday and I'd like to know how easy/hard it is to move with a baby!
Congratulations! We lived down the street from my mother-in-law until December last year. It was hell. As for moving with young kids... it was no problem at all for us and our (then) 8-month-old twins. It didn't disrupt them at all.
thanks! so far, leane has been kinda grouchy, but only because it's hard to hold her all the time while lifting heavy boxes.....and i discovered last night that she has these weird almost 'skin-tag' kinda of blisters on her bum, so that's most likey the cause of the upset. i'm kinda wondering how she's going to react to the new home, though. This is the only one she's ever known. But when I took her to BC for a month just last July, after a couple days, she was happy as a clam. The first couple, she didn't really fuss, but was just a little uncertain about her new surroundings. So wish us luck!
WE'RE HERE!!!!! yey! we already feel a TON better! We've been up till 2am since Friday trying to get everything unpacked and cleaned (they left it really ewwwww) by Tuesday, which is the day we start school (yey!)! As for Leane~she's adjusted very well, lol. She's having so much fun exploring this place, and its all babyproofed so she has free roam and is much happier herself! Its just a 1 bedroom right now, but its ours and we're happy
oh, yeah, and I brought Leane to her dayhome for a few hours on the 1st and she didn't even care when I left, lol. She pointed at the other kids, went "ooohhhhhh," and crawled off to go play. I thought she was going to cry so much. Guess I was wrong. When I went to go pick her up, it seemed like she didn't even want to go cuz she was having so much fun, lol.
I'm glad things are working out for you. You deserve a break after the last few months you've been through. Best of luck as you start school tomorrow. Kathi
