in my opinion, it was a good musical put on film with good actors such as ewan and nicole. they both did great jobs and portrayed emotions well. being a romantic, i loved it. the soundtrack was also awesome. :)

    I love Moulin Rouge!

I don't get why people don't like it. I think it's really good. Ok...it's completely over the top and kinda cliched, but that's the whole point of it.

It's just a bit of pointless escapism [IMG]

I really liked this film for most of the reasons everyone else hated it! I loved Romeo and Juliet, too. :)

    Summer. xx.

I liked this movie. I loved most of the songs. The only part that was weird was the part where the girls did the show and it went into that crazy remix.

I absolutely LOVED Moulin Rouge. It was just so dazzling and beautiful. The tango scene is my favorite, when there's like 30 couples dancing at the same time and it's really sad, because you see the people without the bright lights and flashy costumes, you see them, and how sad their lives are. I cried so much at the end.

I've found that with MR, most people either hate it or love it. There's not a whole lot of in-betweeners.

Inside my heart is breaking, my makeup may be flaking, but my smile still stays on.
