If you are 16, how are you going to vote? I know several gay republicans. I don't have a problem with that. In fact, true conservatism places a high value on government not intervening on private citizens lives. We need more of that. However, the conservative party has lost that ideal over time. My question, how could you, in good consience, vote for a man who wants to make a CONSTITUTIONAL AMMENDMENT banning any form of public & legal commitment between two homosexuals in love? Don't get me wrong, I am not a big fan of John Kerry, but a constitutional ammendment! That is a huge statement, and an extreme example of institutional discrimination.
I admit that I do have some conservative views as well as some liberal views. I'm definitely a moderate. Normally I'd be voting for a third party. I know my party isn't going to win, but if we can give the other parties enough recognition, then maybe we will have a chance in the future. However, this is the first year that i will be voting democrat. I don't like Kerry and don't think he's be that terrific of a president, but I WANT BUSH OUT!!! I don't care what it takes! I want him GONE!!! That man has no right speaking on behalf of the American people! Gone! Finished! John Kerry doesn't support gay marriage either, but at least he thinks that it shoudl be left up to the individual states as opposed to making it a constitutional amendment. that way several states might have a chance at legalizing gay marriages. I do know gay conservatives, but they aren't voting Bush. They actually want to keep the few rights they have. By the way, the legal age to vote in the US is 18. You're not voting for Bush.
I don't blame you for voting Bush...I would too if I was 18...Kerry is too idealistic and naive if you ask me...He thinks he can just wave a magic wand to get want he wants, although it seems that way... I think there may be better chances for gay rights if Kerry was in office, but there are also many other problems that I feel Kerry won't be able to ground when Bush can...Just what I think, though...
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA OH MY GOD THAT IS THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE READ IN AT LEAST 24 HOURS. what a moron! Lmao!
No, I know a lesbian who votes Republican. Although her and I differ in our political views, I find her to be extremel;y intelligent. I have a lot of respect for people who stand true to what they believe. If i don't agree, I don't have to do it. However, if someone has nothing to back up their statements, then I just find in meaningless conversation. Anyway, that's moving off topic. Yes, I know a lesbian who votes republican..
I wish more people would go this way on this particular election. It's just way too important to take any chances. RIGHT ON, Mono!!
sweet. I deem thee "cockstar"... it'll just be a moment while i send the papers to the cockstar headquarters.. now get naked and meet me in my chambers..
actually, he'll fuck up (and has fucked up) not just the USA, my friend. you guys might not notice, but there'll be billions of people sitting on the edge of their seats as this election goes on. someone i was talking to recently said he thinks the whole world should get to vote in the USA election... he has a point. no offence, but its because your leaders seem to think they're more powerful than they really are. (our leaders are not much better mind you, but they dont have the arrogance to trample over everything by themselves... they join in the 'fun' when they see someone else do it first).
bush fucks everything up. to deny voting for someone else is beyond comprehension... a gay person that votes republican doesnt make sense to me... i cant even see believing in anything the republican party stands for... it definitely doesnt stand for lessening the amount of government anymore...
A conservative gay Republican who wants to vote for Bush. Why? I realize that there are are some very wealthy and privileged gay men who value their tax cuts more than the possibility of a legally recognized relationship or any respect or equality, but that seems pretty unlikely for a 16-year-old.
i was part of Howard Dean's campain, i dont like Kerry, i voted for Nadar last time i will vote for Nadar again
I dont agree about him on Gay marriage, but just about everything else (except the Patriot Act since im kinda a racist on Mexicans). Bush has had one of the hardest presidencies in American history, the only people who rival it are Lincoln and FDR. Saddam was an insane dictator who has killed millions and there was a ton of evidence that he was producing WMDs before Gulf War II. Iraq is now a democracy and things are starting (keyword starting) to settle down and are heating up in Iran. Kerry would be probably one of the worst presidents in history. 8 liberal senators dislike Kerry so much, and think he would make a horrible president, that they are going to vote for Bush. now if a senator from ur party votes on the other ticket, what does that tell u.
it tells you you should damn well make your vote against bush count. thats what. who cares who the politicians are voting for? its YOUR country. so Kerry is no Nelson Mandela, so what? would you rather a war-torn world, a gun-happy president, and a country plagued by inequality? im glad you wont be voting this election...
