and it didnt reflect the raise I was supposed to get. I was quite angry. dont promise me something and not follow through with it. grr. who else hates when your boss doesnt follow through with what he promises to ya??
Having jobs and money isn't any less stressful than not having jobs and money, unless you have A LOT of money. I've been on both sides this year. It doesn't get easier. And yep mc, I know whatcha mean.
if you are promised something, and you are promoted with responsibility, and nothing reflects the effort you put in, you should complain.
if i was promised a raise, and i wasn't given it, HR would be hearing about it, well thats if i work in a place that has HR. but yea, i'd complain about it.
I guess I am blessed these days being my own boss, I don't have to worry too much about being let down. But I sure have been there before, I know how you feel. It sucks to be promised something, and then have it yanked away. It's just not right.
