I'd like to thoroughly experience the world of synthetic drugs and am prepared to make the necesary financial investments (read: milligram scale). though I'd still like to save a little bit of cash, so I must ask, would a scale such as this suffice for 2C-E and 2C-I? If not, how accurate of a scale is needed?
Yes. That is sufficiate. There actually is a debate as to if a .002 is sufficiate or if you need a .001. Everyone that reads this please post your opinion. I am unfamiliar with that brand but here are links to 3 other scales you might consider. http://www.oldwillknottscales.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=47 http://www.oldwillknottscales.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=297 http://www.oldwillknottscales.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=291
This should help you also. American Weigh American Weigh is an online retailer of scales, formerly known as Pawnshopper.net and operated by Lee Van Tine. As with some of the above brands, American Weigh is not a scale manufacturer, it is a smaller brand that is used on some imports. We're unhappy about their use of "American Weigh" to brand scales that are made in China and therefore prefer Lee's other name which is "Fast Weigh". Lee started the business from his house selling brand name scales on eBay in 2000. Lee moved on to import some scales from China and at one point was a distributor for Digiweigh scales. However their relationship fell apart so Lee branded some scales with the American Weigh name, took on a partner and began importing direct from China in 2003. Lee does not manufacture scales, he imports models and sells them for whatever markup he can obtain. Lee also uses the name "Fast Weigh" as noted above. It's impressive to see how far Lee has grown in the past few years and we wish him much success in the future, preferably using "Fast Weigh" instead of the American name.
With a 0.002 you can add until it goes back and forth between 2 numbers and you know its half. So I don't think a 0.001 is really needed.
True, but a .001 is more accurate overall. Actually...this might sound odd but there is a difference in accuracy between brand A's .001 and brand B's .001. If you noticed most scales say the resolution is .001, .002, etc. Does not say accuracy yet we assume accuracy. I have the priviledge of personally knowing a few of the guys that are the top sellers online. These two scales both are .001 yet the second one is much more accurate.
