Do you think that people will ever come to their senses and just decide to use hemp for almost everything like fuel, food, clothing, rope, and plastics etc.? I know people already use hemp for these things, but do you think we'll ever move to using hemp almost exclusively?
Hemp is not a wonder product, it's good for some things, but it's just ridiculous some of the stuff they try make from hemp.
I wonder, why those industries won't just adopt hemp? The only reason I can think of is that they will be making a lot less money.
As someone else said, hemp is not SUPER-PLANT. It is just one of many resources. Over dependance on any one thing is bad for society. Witness petroleum. While we use other substances, we move them with petroleum. Our over dependance on petroleum is causing many of the worlds problems. I hope that we don't repeat the "depend on one thing" mistake.
won't never be used for EVERYTHIN but will be used for a lotta things. cannabis will bencome a controlled substance, you wait. they're gonna make wonder medicines from it in the future. that's what i believe anyway.
read up on your factoids. An ancre of hemp plants can produce ten times the paper an ancre of trees can, it can also do it much faster and much cheaper. The hemp oil is the healthiest oil for your skin, hemp can make clothing..etc etc. Overall it would be beneficial for companies just to switch alot of their product materials to hemp. Hemp clothing is predicted to be a new trend soon. I also heard a rumor that using hemp oil we could possibly run fuel our cars? i dont know if thats true or not.
Yes, ethanol is the cleanest-burning liquid bio-alternative to gasoline. In one test, an unleaded gasoline automobile engine produced a thick, black carbon residue in its exhaust, while the tailpipe of a modified ethanol engine tested for the same 3,500 miles remained pristine and residue-free.
I know a farmer who's been agitating the legislators in Cal to let him grow hemp. He's just about to get it done and he has a deal with someone that wants the seeds only.Does any one know who to contact about selling the rest of it for the multiple uses it's known for?
I agree with MikeE on the overdependence on one resource is bad. But that being said, hemp is I think the 2nd most resourceful plant and is VERY economically friendly and it'd be nice to see more products using hemp.
