haha that surprises me I saw like the australian prime minister talking about the loss and he was cryin and stuff.
Although alot of aussies dislike him, most of the pop think he's great. He did great things, spreading wildlife knowledge to millions & putting alot of money towards conservation & the protection of wild animals. He is always entertaining to watch, because he is so enthusiastic & always seemed so full of life. His way of doing things made people respect things like crocs & snakes, instead of fearing them or seeing them as killers. RIP

When I heard about this the only thing that went through my mind was "figures." I heard multiple rumors that Steve Irwin wasn't the nicest guy off camera, sucks for his family though I doubt many life insurance companies were lining up to insure him ya know?
Yeah, he is a bit of a twat. Especially that time he dangled his baby son in front of a croc or his excessive use of the word 'Crickey!' Yet he did a few good things for animals & the enviroment. If you deal with dangerous animals all the time something like that is bound to happen. It's not that all us aussies hate him, we're just not obsessed with him like the rest of the world is. About half of australia love him & the other half think he's a fuckhead.
