So I was watching the woodstock movie ... I love it ... the people were soo free spirited... they slid around in the mud, went skinny dipping , jammin out , loving eatchother its soo awesome .... I wish it was like that today ... I really do ... I wish people got along and stand up for what they believe in and be free and natural. It sucks that there are not many people that go by that anymore ...
So for the older hippies can u tell us younger generation your woodstock or your commune experince? How was it like back in the 60s? Are you all disapointed with the new generation and if so why? What would you do if you were apart of this generation? What would you do to make this generation better?
LOL I know there alot of questions but I am very curious
*I really would appreciate the possitve responses*
and I am sure other people would too !!!
    Thanks alot
    Peace<3
    Katy

Lets see-40 years ago I was 17 and it was 1966-I lived in San Francisco and alot happened in that year and the next-I sometimes wish I had not lived in that area at that time at that age-The reason being is because all the music' drugs and partys along with my age' made it very hard to make it to school-I never went to college ;big mistake-I did too many drugs and even though it was alot of fun at the time I paid for it later on-So 'just remember for every action there is a reaction- even if your parents tell you things that sound stupid and overprotecting; they love you ;there are alot more nuts out in the world today-There used to be a saying in San Francisco about Golden Gate Park; Thats where the hippies hung out-They used to say that it was the only place where the nuts ate the squirells!lol-Have fun-but don't over do it-Don't drive drunk and don't get pressured into sex or anything else you don't want-Be strong and be a good person that people love to see-Run for president andm win- stop the wars and the destruction of planet Earth-Seriously' you could be the next president-Your generation needs to be very enviromentally aware' The global warming is getting much worse every year-Lets get rid of combustion oil using engines and go solar-We had no computers then-You have a good way to talk about these things with your friends-Get involved with Greenpeace-Remember-money is nice but will not replace love ever-good luck be good to yourself

    i agree!

there is a GREAT spirit at most all gatherings.

MUCH BETTER than the spirit at Bonnaroo. bonnaroo is great for what it is, but its no rainbow gathering.
