on the first day of school you wore your new clothes that you had bought a week before and weren't allowed to wear?
yeah yeah....its an exciting thing....mother would make we wait to school so i didnt durty up my shoes!
I wore the same jeans I always wear, my beat up sneakedrs that have been colored on and the such and my CBGB shirt I got at CBGB.
My mom would buy new school clothes like a month ahead just to torture us. We'd be allowed to keep them in our rooms and stuff....and we'd just stare at them....like a baby bunny you just wanted to hug and kiss but couldn't. That was rough....and I don't miss those days, man.
i never wanted to wear them before school started my mom let me but i wanted to save them till school started i remember it was always to hot for them though on the first day because they were fall/winter clothes an it was still summer
i was never patient enough to wait til the first day, so i wore them the day after i got them. my parents weren't really big on "rules" per say. i miss when the last day of school was a cupcake party, instead of a huge test... thats what i miss. and valentines with barbie and the power rangers on them.
I was always allowed... I just felt a little wrong about it all, so I never did wear them by my own free will. Don't even think about wearing the shoes.
You mean my school uniform? No I never recall getting excited about wearing that again Which nicely brings me to my next point....who decided that light cotton/polyester trousers would be approriate for a country with 13 months of winter?
