dude why does everyone get so worked up about death... i have never really gotten sad when someone i know dies. Thats just inevitable, and they have gone to be part of nature again. steve irwin probably wanted to be part of nature, so.... be glad he did what he did while he was alive.

Sorry but i must dissagree with you............us stoners must come together and show our love and approval to other people........us smoking a bowl in his name is not an excuse to smoke....it's a reason to smoke.......he'll be thanking us for our condolences and know that we'll always remember and thank him for what he did.

in a scence that that's how we would commemerate his death.......i.e. alcoholics might have a drink in his name, activists may go and protest something in the name of his death.......could be many examples but he would know that this is how we express and show our condolences....

It's sad to see him go, but I'm sure he was accepting of it since he was doing what he loved and knew the risks. I feel worse for his wife and kids. It's unfortunate for the kids to have their father die while they're still young, but that's life...

Anyway, if I was going to do something in remembrance of him, I'd rather help in something that he believed in, like animal conservation or something.

Steve Irwin Was a great man, a great father, and a great adventurer. He died doing what he loved. We should all be so fortunate. Smoke, drink, or pray in his memory, it doesn't matter just so long as you remember. Rest in peace Steve. We'll miss you.

Hear Hear, Smokey. You've said it all right there...

It's been hard bringing myself around to saying goodbye to him. Steve Irwin was a real animal person; he understood animals more than most people on the planet. In a way, he was pure like an animal, like Enkidu from the Gilgamesh myth before he was humanized. Everything about him was genuine. He was dearly loved by his family, his co-workers (his extended family), his friends, and many more who have only had the pleasure of getting to know him from afar.

Steve Irwin is going to be missed bigtime...

    ...and never forgotten.

    At least by me.

Come on, let's not deify the man. He was just a opportunist dink from down under who figured a way to make some money.
    Great father? Okay...

^^ i hate when people bring up the time he fed the croc holding his son... he was just doing his job and continued the family tradition of introducing animals at an early age. hasnt your dad ever taken you to work with him just for one day?? the baby wasnt in danger... the situation was totally under control... irwin's probly fed crocs 10000 times.

it's funny how people tend to rule out how much of a conservationalist he was just because he was a "crazy croc wrangler"

I heard his wife was raising a law suit against amber solaire......apparantly it doesnt protect against harmful rays.....

Ok people, not in good taste I know, but comedy and tragedy go hand in hand.
