    Hey, everyone!
I have a very serious and important question to ask you guys.
I have decided that I want to LIVE in a 'hippie' (whatever you would like to call it) colony. I have been searching for one, but so far I've only come across the rainbow family gatherings. I see that they are festivals and what-not, but do you know of a place where one could live?
Any information would be of much help and very appreciated.

    Peace and love,
    ~Sway

I live in Amsterdam and there's various "alternative living" communities. The building next to where I work is one in fact. I think you probably have to get invited to live there tho - and it's not like living in whole hippy town.

Nimbin in Australia sounds like the closest bet to me - I haven't visited yet tho. Might see you there!

Let us/me know what else you find - it's been my dream too since my first Glastonbury festival.

    Tot Ziens

I am looking for the same type of community that you are sway. I also thought of starting one, but I'm rather lacking in the human heads department. I'm also unsure if I want to buy land and build a house, or live in the woods. There are so many options, its difficult to decide what to do in life. I've been looking on the net (as have some friends) for communes, but we all come up blank. If you find anything, lemme know, and I will do the same.

    peace,
    tony
