Hippie colonies/housing/plantations

Hey, everyone!
I have a very serious and important question to ask you guys.
I have decided that I want to LIVE in a 'hippie' (whatever you wouldliketo call it) colony. I have been searching for one, but so far I've onlycome across that rainbow family gatherings. I see that theyare festivals and what-not, but do you know of aplace where one could live?
Any information would be of much help and very appreciated.

In America or internationaly? There are loads of communes and communities and eco villages etc dotted around the world. I live in Britain at the moment and there are plenty here. The most amazing of which would have to be Tipi Valley in Wales.

 

In Britain? I'm from London. I lived in Westminster until I was eleven. I hadn't a clue that there were communes there. Then again, they are descrete, aren't they.
It doesn't really matter where it is but I do prefer it to be outside of America. I don't really like it here. Government and such. Eh. It's kewl, though. Thank you for your help. I'll be sure to look into it.
