Okay, as you all know (or damn well should by now) I was away for six days... Anyways the cat's litter box doesnt clean it self, ya know? (I had no house sitter, just left A LOT of food and water out).... ANYWAAAAYS.... One of my cats just peed on a blanket that was sitting on the coach. She is almost four years old and never had an issue or problem like that before. Do you think the reason is most likely because the litter box is dirty? Should I worry or just assume that's why?
Cats CAN have post traumatic stress disorder! She probably missed you so bad she's just reacting to the loss. Her way of releasing pent up emotion. if she continues it though, take her to the vet. I once had a cat die because of a urinary tact infection. I didn't understand the only way he could pee was too rub it out on furniture and clothing. I mistook it for bad behavior.

Thanks Dimen. I'm assuming for now that that is the reason it happened. It never happened before, so..... If it happens again I'll take her to the vet but as of now I'll just assume it was from me being gone and the state of the litter box. Thanks again.
Trust me on this, it was because the litter box was loaded with poo and pee clumps. That is a LOOOOOONG time to leave them alone...
