Hey guys, I'm kinda new to everything, but I may be able to get ahead in the game with this...

I have an old calabash tobacco pipe I used for a movie prop, and it has some chemical residue in it (a couple years ago, axe was sprayed in it...weird don't ask) and now I think I could maybe put metal mesh in a little ways from the top and use it like that. There is a thin slit like mouth hole though, would that prevent me from taking good hits?

    See pictures

    Thank!

if it is real then it should take fine hits if ur worried about the axe wash it out...if the slit is a problem then take a knife and make it bigger or jus use somethin else...buckets r easy to make and get u so fucked

Yeah uh you're not gonna have a problem with a tobacco pipe if it's real... Just run it in some water if you're worried about the axe, then just find a good filter if you need one... but apparently you've solved that problem already.

Just a warning, if it's wooden (which odds are it is) that thing is gonna gunk up like nobody's business. Buy some glass, easier to clean.
