Going to Class HIGH

i never went to class high.. in high school or in college... i just feel there are certain times in which you should be sober... an educated person would realize this... there's plenty of day left after 3 or 4pm to get stoned.. do it then.. and yea.. i never really saw the reason in getting stoned at school... what a waste of a high

I've been to class high, It is pointless. I just can't concentrate & it sends my memory down the shitter. I'd start writing, then somthing would distract me, then I'd completly forget what the fuck I was supposed to be doing. And somtimes I have difficulty understand spoken words. Now I only get stoned in class if I don't give a shit about the subject.

 

I've gone to class high twice. All the people that walk around school though makes me really paranoid, to the point where shit starts spinning and i feel sick. Not worth it.

Although using the blowtorch in my art class was fun as hell.

 

i sometimes go to class burnt out, which can suck, but i rarely smoke right before class, just 'cause i really love my classes and i wouldn't take anything away from them if i was high....

 

you see, especially jokerman, that's where you are wrong... I do have plenty of time to get stoned, but I decide to go to this particular class high on purpose. If you can't concentrate on class when high (or sober for that matter), then that's like your fucking case, not everybody's. Sure, if I didn't give a shit about the class, or if I just chose to trip on something else instead, then yeah, a 2:30 hour class would seem veery boring. Not in my case... like I've mentioned, I am completely passionate about what I study, I am good with logic, and this particularly hard class requires your full attention. Weed helps me with this, and also helps me to understand the subject better because I can analyze things much more fluently, my abstract thinking improves and I become much more involved with the class. I currently have the highest average out of the 25 that are taking the class, with 94... the second highest is an 87. I am taking a lot with me from this class.

It's just a matter of what you want and like doing while high.

I myself like to hear music, dance, lift weights, be with friends, meet new people, meditate, go hiking, go on car trips, play video games, play tennis, do yoga, eat, have sex, watch tv or movies, watch soccer matches and go to some classes high.... and I'm always open to trying new things high.... whatever floats your boat man

 

i would defentally get baked before school, but i have P.E. first period, and nothings more of a buzz killer than running 2 miles

if you were THAT passionate about your career u wouldnt be doing drugs then going to class.

with that said, your an idiot if u cant do well in highschool, in my senior year at highschool i probably went to class stoned like 15-20 times during the year, i also maintained a 3.5 grade average

high school is gravy, if your smart go stoned because most likely all u are doing is retaining knowledge temporarily to acheive a grade that will be used later on to get accepted into a program or school that will most likely have nothing to do with the classes you went stoned to

going to college/university on the other hand stoned is just plain stupid if u are truley "passionate" about your career, i've never once smoked or gone ripped to a single one of my post secondary classes

 

Different tokes for different folks. Some people learn better when they're stoned and some people can't do shit when they're stoned. Different for everybody.

 

but, what if your teacher is high? whoa!

 

My teacher used to drink MD 20/20 in class.

 

I blaze up before school everyday, and sometimes drink too...kinda boring if u dont got a good buzzz

 

yeah i caught my history teacher smoking a joint in his car during lunch, he got so parinoid that i was going to tell someone but i was like "dude its cool"

he was uneasy for the rest of the day

I enjoyed going to that class stoned, wouldn't do it in all of them. I enjoyed doing something new high, interacting with fellow classmates and friends high (first time I was with these people high, so that's fun), I enjoyed that even though this is a hard class, that many are failing, I have the best grade (so far); I enjoyed taking those two tests, at moments feeling a bit overwhelmed and unsure of myself (but fun in itself), and getting a 100 on both, also enjoyed being high in that environment (also a first) and I enjoyed that I took the risk (was too paranoid and thought i would get caught) of going to school high and having a great time.

I still have to do homework and study for the class, and I do it sober. So I am not losing anything.

 

my driving instructor drinks before the driving lessons. sometimes he brings his drinking mates with him on my lessons

 

I really dont belive that smoking weed would have ANY posative effects on learning besides perhaps improving ADHD symptoms

How can you do better in class?! I can barely function & I get too fucking paranoid. Yet somehow time goes faster when I'm stoned, It makes school slightly more bareable for me.

 

That may be correct. I have ADHD, as I am sure many of the stoners on here do, as well as ADD. I am not sure if _toker_ has ADD/ADHD, but it would account for his improved classroom performance. It certainly helped me; much more than Ritalin ever did.

 

philosophy and humanities class are hella interesting when you're lit. also social science was fun high. my teacher blew trees too!

 

None of my teachers would ever blaze weed. I guess they're all a bunch of fucking goody-twoshoes, thinking that drugs are evil or some crazy shit like that.

 

highschool teachers will most likely never admit to smoking weed currently [i say currently because obviously u will occasionaly get a hippy teacher that will talk about the 60's etc] but even the hippies wont admit to smoking in the current day because it could easilly cost them their job by stupid students who would spread the news

University on the other hand, i've known of many Arts/music teachers who smoke with students at year end things, i've never done it though because i dont take those pansy courses :H
