Adam's Freedom Your face danced in my mind like a bullet in a metal room And I thought Of how you might be doing What your heart might be singing Freedom is only an illusion my dear we're all free no matter how many bars keep us from sunlight. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Jesus, And the Mistake Of The Century Organ Music It reminds me of you I can't tell you why Piano Keys Spell Out Your song The river drowning the deliberacy of it dosn't matter Why are you in this Waking thought Scratch Peel You'll find me in harmony's way 'She's the difficult one' They'll say under their breathes pretending to care if I hear 'Come dance with me' I'll say and we'll dance away from opened mouths and teary eyes I've got your hand and you've got mine I've got my heart and you have yours finguring the back of my corset PULL tighter 'I can't breathe' Gasps out from my lips 'Look down' You'll say I'm not wearing one Stupid girl Cut my hair Paint my face 'Can't you make her look better' they'll say 'It's hopeless' it says from under eery blankets of sin OUR SIN They'll say 'It's the corruption of all' We are the sins of saints 'Didn't Jesus Die for me too?' I'll say My Mistake
I liked the first one the best. Cool image of the bullet in the room. And I like the part about us being free no matter what. Only, if that's so, why is freedom an illusion?
ahhhh thats the question not is it. i have the answer in my head i tried to answer you but i couldnt seem to get it out in words
I know exactly what you mean by that, and I have been trying to get it out in words for the longest time...those worked together as a single poem, they could have been one, it would have worked out quite nicely...
