Patchwork winter skirt w/stealie

I just finished this a few days ago, as a custom order for a mama online. I really like the way it came out! The lighting in these pics is a little crappy (can you tell I'm in a rush to get my booty back to work!?) but it gives you a pretty good idea. It's tiered, with the pinwale layers pleated. The outer skirt is belted with webbing, and contains 2 stash pockets and the two big outside pockets. It also has a ruffled flannel petticoat w/elastic waist, so she can wear this skirt, as well as her others, in winter.

The stealie applique came out really nice, I think. I actually impressed myself a little with the amount of detail. The people I have shown it to in person all thought that I'd purchased it until I told them I'd done it myself!

Now I want to make another one for me!
