Ive recently bought a car thats far away and have had to contract a shipper to trailer it here to me. Has anyone ever done this and figured out it might be easier to get a ride on the space shuttle that one car from point a to point b? So so much bs that sides on the side of the shipper, the normal shippers want it taken to a depot for up to two weeks, there it sites outside and the keys to a semi pro street dodge just site waiting for one nightshift worker to test drive, hell I would. So I had to hire a private party to go get the car and be back by sunday, a bit over a grand, which wasnt in the budget. There were too many bad reasons not to use your average mass car hauler type service.....fucking too many. Anyways this just sucks, I wont do it like this again.
That does suck, sorry to hear. In my experience, though, it usually ends up better to spend a bit more to not have to deal with companies (like shippers in your case) but rather have it done more privately. It does absolutely suck. But at least you'll get your car.
I had my car shipped when I moved from Mi to Md. It worked out all fine and I had no problems except with them not being on time, they were a day late.
