I was wondering how one legally supplies cannabis clubs with green. Is there a permit thing going on or what? Does this vary by county? I'm in Northern California just east of the Emerald Triangle. Gonna be a nice harvest in a couple of weeks....
Howdy neighbor. First and foremost, you have to be legal (Dr's recommendation). You can't even get in the door without that recommendation. Then call your local co-op/club and ask them the procedure. I know several people who do this. They even pay taxes (they list it on their tax form as "produce"). One friend says he drives his crop over in 5-gallon plastic buckets, the good kind, the ones that seal tight. Someone at the co-op inspects it and smokes a bowl and offers a price. Sometimes there's a bit of good-spirited "haggling". Keep in mind though--this has been a good year for growing MJ. Not too hot, not too cold, no torrential rains, no drought (so far). That means there will be a glut, which means they won't pay nearly as much as you can get on the street, or they might already have all they need (or afford). ADD: Make sure to give your pot a good weeks-long at least cure. You're up against some master growers (I'm not implying you aren't) who take great pride in what they sell.
No drought? Hasn't rained around here since May 1st! Of course I'm a bit inland from the coast. Glad to hear there'll be a good harvest this year. I prefer outdoor organic, which is hard to find most of the year. It's always sweeter and better tasting than indoor shit (which is usually more potent, but not always). When is the first harvest gonna be ready for market?
*wide engaging smile* Hiya rangerdanger, Thanks for the input. I've got the Dr's rec, so good to go there. Been growing outdoors for the past 30 something years, all for my own use as well as sell/give away some. Got the curing down to a science--a week minimum, but the longer cures make a smoother, more potent smoke. I'd like to learn about indoor growing at this stage of the game so I can grow year-round. This once a year thing fairly bites because my "fairy garden" isn't large and can't be without fear of ripoffs. Still, I'll have more than I (and all of my friends) can smoke in a year--its just nice to have something different instead of the same-ole same-ole stuff. Hence the idea of legally selling to the co-ops what I'll get tired of smoking by and by... Can't wait to see what everyone else harvests this year! The weather HAS been perfect!
Good answer RD took some down t'other day, wasn't good enough for em, but I get by with a little help from my friends! Skip, not only smokable/ettables, clones are also available. We haven't had rain on the coast since then either, just fog sun fog fog fog, let me know when yall start to cool down over there so I'll know when the sun will come back! K?
Hey Naturalhi ! Why wouldnt they take your Herb? Im not tryinna be an ass or nothin but why didnt it make the grade? Could we see some pics? Im just qurious as to the Med clubs criteria for Herbs that they buy.
They're light 'air buds' do to an experiment that went wrong, or not depending on ones perspective, and a little immature. also I didn't make up a fancy name for them 'cause I grew them from bag seeds. It's all good though being light one doesn't imbibe as much veg matter. The trics are just as potent as......eeehhhhhhh......full bodied buds, just less matter to plug up ones lungs with ash! CC's have to keep a high standard I suppose, so my advice would be; grow from established clones with recognizable names, otherwise they'll think you're trying to palm off bag seed grows on them.
Gotcha Brudda. Yea. Sometimes, due to differant factors the plant stops puttin on veg weight but she'l keep on pumpin out the trichs. Im workin on movin out west rite now. Its my Dream to be a Med Grower. Where I live its a crime. Im checkin out Ca mobil homes rite now in areas I can afford. I figure that as soon as I get out there and get an address I gotta go see a doc. I aint seen a doc in bout 15 years and I got no med rercords. I guess I gotta see a doc as soon as I get out there so he can give me a scrip for anxiety and sleeplesness and stuff. Then I can get to TCB!
I gave the manager to my local club some afghani cuts last spring... He seen me the other day and was like "whats up with the cold water".... I suppose he realizes the potential of the strain in question, much frost on the leaf- lots of leaf to trim... But im not into production this year, not since my spring crop got uprooted by the sheriff. (too deep into the forest he said "if it was near the house you can keep it") So anyways I figure they'll be checking harvest weight this year..... and well any coldwater hash we get we are definetly keeping.... The manager was all over me for a minute though, I had to tell him im just doing a little outdoor grow that's not ready yet.... He's knowing this is one of the better hashmaking strains out there..... bye for now tiedye
I have The State ID card for medical pot in San Fran. I don't know anything about growing just smoking. Just me 2 cents If they already are setup and open for sales they got the hook up they needed to get going. I am sure half go to north cal and get by bulk which makes it way cheaper. Or they they are growing indoors near by the club. Which is just as good weed and now it seems likely that they do since half now sale FEMALE plant clipping for $10-$15 per plant Can they buy pot from walk ins?? I don't know. Why not open a legal pot club. Yet thats very costly but if you own a club I bet you make a killing and can grow all you want.
