    Its 5am

Aww I forgot the how the taste of vomit the first thing in the morning really makes you HATE doctors for not curing this a long time ago,

If men had to go through 9 months of constant throwing up and even worse constant nausea their would be an inexpensive drug that makes it all go away I have no doubt

I have heard every little bull**** story about morning sickness and how the help it, I can eat all the ginger in the world it just makes for taster vomit

THIS SUCKS! Only 8 months to go L

Get some finagrin or whatever it's called. But, you're still only one month along....I had ALL DAY morning sickness for like the first 4 months.
Don't be so down....you'll have a precious baby in 8 months. Enjoy it, even the throw up.

this is....realllllly kind of gross but if you want to eat something and can't handle the aftermath, eat something like plain yoghurt or custard (they don't change texture if you have to spew) :)

Phenigrin does nothing but make me puke more (and makes it all taste like medicine). I just got a perscription last week, tried it twice, and gave up. I only have about another month to go with this morning sickness thing myself, mostly I just am tired of puking at work - but when you have a boss who tells you her cure for morning sickness is "working a lot" it's hard to get the days off you need so you can throw up in your own bathroom.

I agree that if men were the one's going through this we'd have a reasonable cure (the other medicine my doc wanted me to try is used for cancer patients and even with insurance would have cost me $900 for a two week supply). Reproductive control of our bodies would be a far less controversial and political issue as well if it were men that carried pregnancies instead of women (those horn-dogs would be getting knocked-up all the damn time!).

I was so hoping this pregnancy would be different I thought it might be to because when i found out I was pregnant I was not as sick, and was hoping when I went to my scan I would be 12-14 weeks but I was only 5 weeks and 4 days which means I am going to get sicker and I have .

With my last I was throwing up until the morning she was born,

I cant take the pill because it makes me sick and crazy, I think it’s the hormones that does it to me.

No drugs but pot works, and that’s not the best option either not only do I have no idea what it will do to the baby but it’s so expensive these days.

I am wondering if I can do this again I was suicidal last time because of this sickness.

Research marijuana and it's effects on the developing fetus. It's been shown (in the scarce number of studies I've found) to not be harmful to the fetus at all, but in some cases, the child resulting from the marijuana user actually had higher IQs than the child whose mother didn't smoke.

And if the sickness is so bad that you cannot eat or function, which is worse? A mother smoking pot, or a mother whose body is flooded with the hormones caused by depression and malnutrition? I'd take the pot any day.

aw momma... I'm so sorry your feeling so sick. I know this may sound annoying to you but have u ever tried breathing and meditating? I calmed and slowed myself through morning sickness and imagined a growing baby to keep my mind off throwing up. It helped me... I hope your sickness isn't as bad this time around. good luck.

i feel for you, erin. i actually threw up the whole time with my son, not quite as long with my daughter. i do think their genders had something to do with it. i am really sensitive to hormones too, can't take the pill. only i did respond to phenergen, but, the difference was it was a suppository. i know that's a bit gross, but perhaps it wouldn't make you sick if you took it that way, because it doesn't go through your stomach.

I had to take Compazine with Sage, They couldn't risk my dehydrating with my migraines and risk ending up on a rehydration, antinausea, corticosteroid, Morphine drip while I was pregnant. Zofran is actually not only more effective than Compazine , but Zofran is even safer! The drawback is that it is expensive. But, damn, it is a fine antinausea agent. Ask your doctor. (It wasn't FDA approved for pregnancy when I had Sage, or I would have had some. Ask your doctor.)

You shouldn't suffer through the entire pregnancy, or risk dehydrating and a hospitalization. Especially with little ones at home, too. :(

    I hope you feel better.

(freddy, that wasn't nice. Hyperemeisis is very nasty, and can be dangerous. She has a right to vent.)

I too read about this. the one thing that pisses me off is that even though the research supporting this is out, doctors and even college professors teaching growth & development classes do not beleive this! When I took a class in growth & development a year ago the professor denied anything positive from prenatal MJ use. grrrr!

It's called liability. :( Doctors and professors will not and cannot say anything not approved by the ruling medical establishments without either being controversial or sued.

    What a sad world. :(

I went to the Dr. today I have a different Dr to the one I had with my first, she is from Amsterdam and is pretty good, she gave me 4 zofran tablets which were $39.41 they don’t work !!!! its cheaper to buy cannabis which works I have a week to decide if I will carry on with the pregnancy, my partner wants the baby and tells me to handle it, Ha easy for him to say but he is doing a really good job looking after the kids and house, he knows the joys of being a 24hour on call parent HAHAHAHAH (evil laugh)

    Awwwwwww im so sick L

poor lady :( My morning sickness was pretty minor, so my advice is meaningless, but i found drinking green tea and sniffing (or making a tea from) dried peppermint helpful.
