Hey there, a little while ago Sal asked me to help out and be a new mod for this forum. Skip gave the okay, so here I am! Sal thought I'd be good for this job, since as most of you know, I'm the biggest music geek on this earth. I'm honored to a be a Yank working in a UK forum (ironic huh? ), and hope that this little sub-forum can continue to grow like the other UK forums are! More than anything though, I really hope for this forum to be a place for both music fans and musicians. I made an attempt at a musician's forum (The Band Basement for you old-schoolers who remember it) and it kinda flopped after awhile, but I think that musicians need a place to post too, and be music geeks together! So please, use this forum as both a music listerner's and player's forum. That will keep this forum really interesting and we'll all be able to enjoy it more. Have fun guys
I'm sure you'll do a great job helping to run this place Sarah. If anyone can bring music to the masses, it's you
Woooah, I go away from the U.k forums for a little while & I see the old faces comming back Yay Oh, good luck Sarah BTW
Aww you guys are sweet, thank you. It really is awesome to be back here, come back and visit me as often as possible!
Hi there!!! Nice to have you as a member of the Mod team!!! I'm a mod on this here forum too... well it was inda my idea for a forum about music many many mooooooooooooons ago!!! NICE ONE!! xxx P.S I'm Loop!
I am a supreme geek (Read: My record collection is larger than my fathers!) as I have never found anything capable of provoking emotional change in me as much as music. I have music round me pretty much 24/7 eother listening or playing and I'll give everything a listen once.
You have more than one natural father? Is the record collection larger than them both combined in cubic volume or are you talking mass? Yes, I do need to know
Haha not at all, I was just intrigued by the prospect of you comparing the size and weight of your CD collection to your two dads Sorry it's been a long day
Dear Lord I think I love you! My record collection is also bigger than my fathers When my mother died I inherited all her records, when my brother moved out he left some behind, and I've purchased about 1000 on my own... And plus the collection my father has - That adds up to be about 2500 records, maybe more, it's been about a year since I last counted...
By records I mean Vinyl btw, the size of my total collection is just daft (Read: I have a whole computer just for storing music). And Yay for music love
