    A little about H.O.P.E.

HOMELESS & ORPHANED PETS ENDEAVOR (HOPE) is an all-foster, no kill
adoption group based in the Houston, Texas area. Founded in April
    1999,
HOPE relies on volunteers to provide foster care for our homeless
    dogs
and cats (some too young or sick for adoption) until they can be
    adopted
    into loving, responsible homes.

In addition, based upon available funds, HOPE has undertaken special
projects, such as sterile feral program, aimed at reducing stray
    animal
    overpopulation in the Houston area.

One aim of HOPE is to develop a network of area rescue and humane
organizations, which will facilitate the rescue and placement of a
variety of animals. The goal is to never have to turn away an animal
    in
need. By forming a coalition of humane and rescue groups in the
    Houston
area, we could potentially place all animals who need a temporary
    home
until they are placed into a permanent one.

If you would like more information on becoming a dog or cat foster
    home,
