Does anyone else remember this movie... I was going through my tapes last night and found this one, and I use to watch this movie all the time... It has Tom Cruise in it, he plays Jack. And it has a chick in it her name is Mia Sara she plays Lilly and Tim Curry is in it. And she touches the unicorn when she is not supose to and then everything turns into darkness, and the demons come and cut off the unicorns horn and Jack has to basically save the day, and he rounds up the fairys and such he met in the woods, he has to go save his girl too from them and darkness and I cant explain movies worth crap..
The only problem that I have with the movie is Tom Cruise, who is King Fag of the universe. For some reason I have always despised that talentless little prick. Even way back, 20 years ago, I couldn't stand the short little bastard in "Risky Business." Whenever Tom Cruise has a fight scene or tries to act tough in a movie, I almost laugh out loud - I bet that River Phoenix could beat him in a fist fight, and River Phoenix is dead. However, "Legend" is a beautiful movie, and the Lord of Darkness is especially creepy & cool; most Ridley Scott movies are entertaining.
wow,i had totally forgotten about Legend!!! I loved it sooo much when i was a kid. I remember watching that and another one called Dark Crystal i think. Puppets and stuff? little hazy right now anyone know it?

oh man! Labryinth!!!! thats another one from my childhood! The girl is babysitting her little brother and wishes he wasnt there, and then he disappears? David bowie is in it? The dark crystal has like elf creatures, and some kind of spider monster, someone must know this movie!!! I m ging to try to rent labryinth for my kids, thanks for the flashback.
yep, you are correct.. i liked this movie too..makes me want to watch it. i havent seen labryinth in forever, i must to go rent it now..hehe
I hardly remember the story but I have to give the movie credit for the great costume design. http://www.figmentfly.com/legend/background5.html
I own copies of both Legend (despite Tom Cruise and way too much glitter on everything) and Labyrinth (which I wouldn't change one frame of), and Labyrinth is hands down better in every regard. Legend was worth sitting through for the soundtrack (an yes, it was the lead singer from Yes doing the vocals for Tangerine Dream's music), the footage of the unicorns, Mia Sara, and Tim Curry. (I still laugh when I think it's the same actor under that face and massive set of horns that did Frankenfurter in Rocky Horror.) Labyrinth, on the other hand, was simply brilliant. I still miss Jim Henson. (I'm a bit of a fan, as you can tell from my sig.)
i still have nightmares of david bowie dancing around in The Labyrinth with his junk hanging everwhere
