just cut up your avocados and add:
    diced tomatoes
    red onions
a splash of lemon or lime juice
    cilantro (optional)
    minced chili pepper (optional)

this is one of my favorite things. :)
    enjoy.

    peace.

my recipe: (everyone has their own!)

In a food processor, throw in 3 avacados, 1/3 cup sour cream (opt.), 1 or 2 LARGE cloves garlic, juice & pulp of 3 limes & 1 lemon, 1 tsp fresh black pepper. Puree the crap out of it until smooth, transfer to bowl. Add cilantro to taste (me, about 1 tblsp) + dice up a bit of red onion and a bit of tomato. A tsp of dijon mustard and some jalapeno sauce makes it nice and zesty too!

    seconded.

but i don't like using chunky bottled shelf-stable salsa, i prefer fresh. (tomatoes, jalapenos, onions - cilantro, garlic and cumin are optional but highly recommended)
