I currently live in Montreal..I don't really like it here..I mean sure I've seen worst places but Montreal it's like there's nothing special. Maybe I have seen it all..I've been living here for 15 years. So ya..I was wondering how's Toronto, never been there before.
TO rocks Dont know why it gets such a bad rep around here...people bitch that its a concrete jungle when in fact theres tons of parks and green here. Theres a lot of diversity...and I dont mean culturally speaking. By diversity, I mean there are so many different pockets to this city...an atmosphere/district for everyone, modern and old. I like the old especially....the old diners and shops that were established in post WWII....unfortunetly, theyre slowly disappearing... Anyway, theres a lot to discover....There are parts of the city that I have yet to explore, I should really get around to that.
i love montreal.. i don't like toronto. i'm a big city girl but something about it bothers me. my brother is there for school right now though so i visit often
hmm ....nothing special about toronto...a couple of bums here and there, and the streets smell like shit...for real actual shit. Toronto sucks. Quebec city is rather nice...id live there
montreal is alot nicer, but toronto is nice, for a while, i want to live there but it's not for long term, it's more past paced, fucked night scene, dirty, dangerous, fun while you're young bonus, no french j/k both cities are nice, but are very different...
Toronto=worst city in Canada (possibly North America...or even the world) the city has had incompetent mayors for the last 10-20 years who do nothing good for the city. Especially that jack-off thats in now. How he got in is beyond me, and if by chance he gets in again, torontoians are stupider than I thought.
Toronto is one one the best best big cities in North America without question. In Canada, Only Montreal comes close to offering such a complete and satisfying urban experience.
so in effect, you've never killed anyone all the times you've been there, just felt extremely violent and wanted to kill? warning- toronto traffic influences violence towards others.
I love Toronto...of course I love Montreal too. It's true you can find so many shitty things about every city in the world, or better yet, every place in the world...And I know with some places that might seem harder, but believe me, it can be done. But on the flip side of that you can ALWAYS find lots of good things about all place as well, it just the way you choose to think about it. Im' sure you could fall madly in love with living in toronto, or you could hate it, ....hell, I moved to winnipeg this month. I've heard almost nothing good about it before, but LOTS of negative things. whatever though, it's a wonderful city and I'm happy living here. My point is just, that if you choose to search out the things you want in a city and appreciate the good qualities life there will be much better. The thing with cities is they are so big, you can usually, if you search, find a place for yourself in them....
