    Since it's a world language I guess .. (I believe it's no.4 of the universal languages; 1. Chinese, 2. English, 3. Hindi, 4. Spanish .. )

Chinese and Hindi are used primarily locally. For universality, Spanish comes only after English.

    Spanish???

well one's tastes are not arguable..but, does not either portoguese or french sound much more better??? no one talks about portoguese, but I reckon it really awesome, it's got more sounds and that kind of intonation (see also brazilian), spanish is more about s sound at anytime..

I don't know, but lately I got this feeling that spanish language became fashionable...

I'd like to live some time in Spain, Barcelona actually. It is the most beautiful city I've ever been. And they are fun people too

s sound is fine. Let's talk about the "rr" sound--I've got blisters on my tongue.

Its only fashionable because its a pretty language. Not that many people in Holland speak it though, most of us are taught some French and German at school. Ive never really liked French, not that i dislike it, its just not my favourite language. French is too soft, even when you curse it sounds like youre being polite. Portuguese, for as far as i know it, doesnt sound as nice as Spanish i think. A bit like youre chewing your tongue, dont know why. I love the r in Spanish, and just the rythm it has. Most Roman languages are quite pretty, but like you said you cant argue about taste and i just happen to love Spanish.

Im still trying to teach myself that, i can only roll the r in the back of my mouth, not the front and that way you cant pronounce it right in all words. Its hard to relearn saying the r.

    Check this page:

How do they do that? They must have stronger tongues.
