What will wake me UP? I have had this horrible problem since I got back from vacation of sleeping AT LEAST twelve hours per night and being tired all day long. When I first got back I would sleep 13 hours, wake up five, sleep 13 more...

it's not THAT bad now. But I'm tired of being tired.

    What would wake me up?

Try drinking a big glass of orange juice in the morning. I have heard that works better than coffee because you don't have a 'crash' after the caffeine wears off...

    But I love my coffee..:D

Eating apples or drinking apple juice does the same thing. I think most fruits and veggies will help. Stretching and exercise is very helpful, gets the blood flowing, circulates the chi......

Chi can be defined as bio-electricity, life force, vitality, or simply energy. Chi is all of these things, but none of them exclusively. Chi is the essence of the food we eat and the air we breath, the real nourishment of the body. When we breath or eat, we are taking chi into our bodies. Without chi, there can be no life.
There are specail execises you can do to increase your chi. They are usually very easy, non impact exercises that focus on breathing and slow movement/body control. Alot like yoga. You can look up sites online for more info if you're interested. Qigong exercises are very benificial for your overall well being.

grapefruit, citris fruit seem to be the most revitalizing, or yoga/breathing exercises, or go take a walk or jog outside, if it's cool outside that will help

Well since sex is not an option right now and I really dont feel like jogging, I will take a walk outside instead soon. It's actually nice and chilly out so that is good. :)

    oh and thanks hippylandscaper.

Go out and *almost* get into a bad car accident. It will get the adrenaline flowing causing you to be wide awake.

I love my coffee in the mornings, have to have it, but I must confess that blending orange juice with frozen strawberries and bananas is like liquid sunshine, perks me right up.

i can't eat fruit in the morning at all. i crash so hard whenever i eat fruit or drunk fruit juice in the morning. i have to have dairy of some sort, like cottage cheese, some toast. that's if i get around to eating breakfast at all, which is a problem with me.

I was like that some years ago. I couldn't eat anything most mornings, and definately not anything sweet. It'd make me feel sick to my stomach. I had to eat something salty if I ate anything at all. Pizza and ramen and meat and sandwiches were the best things for me to eat back then.

But now I like to eat fruit first thing in the morning. Or nuts.
