I didn't quite get it. Was that dude with the shaved eyebrows soposed to be Hitler or mocking him? I should've watched when I was stoned, it probably would have made alot more sense.
that was pink once he had built up his mental wall i think.. all the way through the wall he was building up his wall because of the troubles he was facing untill he finaly snapped and turned into his alter ego? well thats how i understood it.

it's about control. Pink was controlled all of his life and in his mind he ceated the totalitarian alter ego. The schenes we see him adressing the crowd we see them as he sees them in his mind. In real life we assume the crowd is just a regular crowd at a concert singing and clapping alog to his songs. Pink Floyd is all wrapped up in control. They are big readers of the book, "Cybernetics: the human use for human beings" It has alittle to do with the movie, because Floyd has been practicing control since the first album.

i think you might understand it better if you are blazed. it's a strange movie but it's a good one. it was so sad when little pink was in the park trying to "take home a dad". it's just great how the songs go along with the movie.
