No More 9/11's

There is so much talk and fear in this country (US of A) and throughout the world of another 911 happeneng. If all the people in the world focus their energy, there can be if we all will it, never having another 911. What we can do is go from September 10th to the 12th and just skip the 11th. We can take the extra day we have extra from September and put it in February as February is too short and a bit of a rip off for renters of houses or apartments as we are deprived of about a half a week's due in days and so giving February another day will balance that out a little. We do it for tall buildings that go from the twelth to the fourteenth floor without ever having a labeled 13th floor so why can't we do it with days of the month?

This american business of writuing the date the wrong way round is illogical. Everywhere else, it goes day/month/year. Only in the USA is it month/day/year.

What about all the people who have birthdays on September 11th?

My birthday is the 5th of November. If you've seen V for Vendetta (or studied your history) I'm sure you've heard "Remember, remember, the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot ..." where they destroyed Parliament in England?

Should we just forget about my birthday because they blew up some big Parliament building on that day some hundreds of years ago?

Good luck convincing 7 billion people who speak over 200 languages of that ... when you learn all the other languages, then make an international petition. At least that would stand a chance of working.

In Japanese, the word for "four" also can mean "death." In Japan, the buildings don't skip 13, they skip 4.

Also kind of a stupid tradition if you ask me, but if you went to every hotel in the world I'm sure you'd be able to find ones that skip 6 and ones that skip 8 and even ones that start at like 20.

"9-11" happened only because it was premeditatedly ordered to be allowed to happen from the highest levels within the u.s. government itself. the greatest risk of it happening again is for people like rumsfield and the rand corporation to have access to the kind of political influence that they do.

and this time, perhapse in spite of himself, jailmate actualy said something that makes cohierent sense. at least the part about karma anyway. the more suffering there is floating arround the more likely each of us are to suffer it. and the more suffering any of us causes or the harm that causes suffering any of us causes, the more there is floating arround.

the best way to prevent another 9-11 would be to empeach bush and send his whole viper pit of cronies up for war crimes

i think we're idiots not to have a 13th floor. what did not having a 13th floor do for those towers?

we've got enough arbitrary goofyness as it is. that might even be part of the problem.

maybe a little more NONarbitrary goofyness, like the diversity of nature, to make us less gullable to political manipulation.

maybe we should randomly number the floors of buildings, or randomly pick which numbers not to number floors differently for each building.

there's nothing wrong with getting lost, if there's no risk of starvation.
might do everyone a world of good not to have to be in a big half assed hurry all the time.

you know, if there wasn't all that kind of stress created by romantacizing aggressiveness and all that, maybe things like this wouldn't happen in the first place. or at least maybe not anywhere near as much.

what if we were so scattered and random that there would be no political opportunism to be gained by trying to scare us?

what we pretend to call civilization is breaking down. let us let it break down into something better instead of something worse. the artifacts are real but what we asume because they are there is mostly smoke and mirrors anyway.

we need to dicipline ourselves to avoid causing suffering and the harm that causes suffering, but beyond that, how much of the illusions we assume we can't live without do we really need anyway?

well, then in england they would take nov. 9 out of the calendar

We would have to remove ALL of the dates on the calendar if we removed one for everytime there were one or more idiots playing god.
